We hired Niki to help with our year old lab on his leash manners and also just beefing up his overall listening skills. Niki was great to work with - extremely friendly, professional, and our dog instantly gave her his full attention. She is all about positive reinforcement, which is exactly what he needed and responded to, and she also made sure we felt comfortable with what was being asked of us as well to keep the progress going in the right direction. Highly recommend her.

Niki was great with my Border Collie who experiences some leash anxiety. Over a handful of sessions I was already able to see improvement with his behavior and I feel fully equipped to continue the training on my own to further his development. Niki was great with explaining different training techniques and provided me with a range of options and methods to continue his training. She also genuinely cared about my dog and his progress!

I met Niki through Karma dog training a few months ago when my toy poodle mix, Rory, began developing some negative behaviours. A lot of it was common puppy behaviour that stuck around later after the puppy phase such as barking, biting, begging for treats, eating anything in sight, jumping too much, etc. I went to petsmarts puppy training classes and they were somewhat helpful but the strategies I learned weren’t so useful with such a stubborn pup. He began biting my friends or family members and he hated unfamiliar people/objects coming in and out of the house. When Rory was about to turn 1, he was not making a lot of progress so thats when I knew I needed a more professional, knowledge trainer. If that’s what you’re looking for, I highly suggest Niki. Not only is she super patient, funny, and kind but she is so dedicated to her job and she genuinely cares about her clients. Within 3 sessions and our dedicated time and effort, we resolved the issues Rory and I were having and even more! She taught me a lot about his behaviour and how to communicate with him. I was genuinely surprised at how much progress we made and how far Rory has come. Thank you Niki!!
