No 2 Alike Dog Training

Huge thank you to Savannah for working so hard to train my dog Cocoa. Cocoa is my reactive Pekingese who has a bad habit of lunging and barking at people on walks. Cocoa spent 3 weeks with Savannah for her board and training and it really made a difference. Cocoa is calmer now and more confident towards strangers and dogs. I can tell that Savannah spent a lot of time working with her. I know with more training on my part Cocoa will get even better.

My partner has a reactive border collie who had already gone through two trainers without real success. After moving in together, the collie became aggressive towards my senior pit bull, and we had to keep them separated which created a stressful environment, especially with a third dog in the mix. After consulting numerous trainers in the Denver area, we went with Savannah because of her immense knowledge, methods, clear expectation setting about what could be realistic for our situation with the dogs, and her very reasonable pricing. After biweekly sessions for a couple of months, we learned how to utilize appropriate training tools, read dog body language (Savannah has taught us so much!), and handle situations effectively when they occur. Savannah made it clear our dogs will never be best friends, but they can now cohabitate without incident which was our goal. Our house is much more peaceful, and we feel equipped to handle situations when they arise. We highly recommend No 2 Alike if you need help with a reactive dog!

We came to Savannah with our young and mouthy terrier mix, Fredrick. He has participated in a few one on one trainings and the board and train program. We went from pulling our hair out trying to get him to stop his reactive barking and general stubborn behavior to having a loving, respectful relationship. So grateful for Savannah’s knowledgeable and supportive partnership in our journey with Fredrick!
