I have brought two dogs to NMBDT and have only positive things to say about their dog (and human) training. Helen and Katie went so far above and beyond in helping us with our fear-aggressive senior rescue Penny. She made incredible progress in cooperative care private sessions with Katie and in class with obedience so we could make her world bigger and less scary. When it came to end of life planning when she got sick, Helen & Katie coordinated with the vet to keep their staff safe and help Penny pass peacefully at home. We could not have given Penny a safe home and such happy last year of adventure without NMBDT. I am so grateful for their knowledge, honest assessment, and kind, supportive assistance. Our puppy, Paya, is doing well in their basic classes. My partner is a first (now second-time) dog owner and the classes are helpful for him as well in providing training tips, a structured plan, and a venue for “is this normal?!?” questions.
