No Xcuses K9 - Maine

I am beyond happy with my experience with no xcuses K9. On short notice they were able to take my dog in for a board and train behavior modification program for almost a month. Leaving my dog with someone is never easy for me, but when I left him with Nick I knew he was in the best hands. Nick even travelled to Biddeford pick him up out of convenience for me! And he even travelled to me for a handler session at the end. He was very responsive and dents pictures, videos and updates while Chief was with him. I also met with Kristina when I went up for a handler session at the end, who is equally as awesome. This company is by far one of the more elite dog training/boarding facilities I have seen. Chief went in for anxiety and aggression issues. I was never able to take him anywhere without a muzzle and without him reacting. No xcuses got down to the core of the issue and really worked it. He has never been better since returning from them. Before this program I had to have him tied on a cable when letting him out in the yard, and when people would walk by or ride by on a bicycle he was always growl and run towards them (of course the cable tie stopped him before he could get to them). Today, my neighbor came to the edge of my yard to talk and I had Chief outside with me (off leash, e-collar on), in a down command, and I walked out to my neighbor and he barked a little bit in protest for about 5 seconds and then he was totally relaxed laying on the porch while I talked for 5 minutes. Did not have to correct him at all. Plus others have ridden by and walked by and he hasn’t reacted. I’ve also taken him to a store and stood out by the door where people walked by and he didn’t have any reactions even when people stopped to talk to me about how beautiful he is!!! I could not be anymore satisfied. If I could give 15 stars I would.
