Noel Hoffmann Dog Training

I wish we had invested in dog training years ago! We recently adopted our 4th Brittany (3rd rescue one) and he was the first dog we've had that has some behavioral issues, likely due to lack of socialization. He is two years old and was very scared of new people and super reactive to them, sometimes showing opportunistic aggression. Noel helped us learn basic training methods as well as worked with us to come up with strategies to deal with new people coming over and how to lessen the reactiveness. We've seen a lot of improvement since we've started training with her. Highly recommend!

I am absolutely mortified that this woman trains dogs because she is one of the most insensitive, cold, callous human beings I have ever spoken to. Not only would she NOT accept me as a client because my rescue dog from Texas, who was run over by a car and has issues with doing all of his business outdoors, she literally made me feel AWFUL when I told her I had PTSD and have had difficulties and challenges training this dog the way he needs to be trained. She was so cold and so indifferent when I mentioned my diagnosis and said that she’s not there as a “therapist” for me, which blew me away! I told her I have a therapist. I was trying to explain why I needed her support and help for training my rescue dog. Once she heard about my dog using a peepee pad she was so belligerent and rude, saying she would never take a dog like this. I was aghast that a behaviorist who deals with a plethora of canine issues and challenges made me feel SO ashamed that my dog had challenges with going outside. She was flat out rude and insensitive and I literally hung up the phone crying. I’m blown away by her incredibly tactless demeanor and incredibly insensitive response to someone who needs a professional to give me the right tools and skills to be the dog mom I know I can be. She says she’s a “straight shooter.” I say she’s just straight out rude and cruel and makes me very glad that she won’t go near my pups. Only bring well trained perfect dogs to her. Otherwise she will school and scold you!! Good riddance Ms. Hoffman!
