Nora's Dog Training Company

I made the mistake of selecting Nora's training. To say I am displeased is an understatement. My dog sustained several injuries while under the "care" of Nora's dog training. One injury that was significant enough that we had to amputate his tail. They offered to pay the vet bill and gave us the old "the check is in the mail" routine. Even lied and told me that the delay is that they "just lost our mom." That was this July. She passed away in April. $2000 for the training and ~$2500 for the vet bills. I cannot recommend using another trainer strongly enough.

BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. We enrolled our dog Argos in this school for a two-week obedience training course. When we picked him up at the end of his training, we noticed that he had a wound on his tail and they told us that he hurt himself waving his tail in the cage. When we got back home I did a deeper inspection and realized that he had more wounds on his tail, hip, and legs. We are not sure how the injuries happened. We only know it happened while he was in their care. We were never informed nor was it mentioned it in the few emails/texts we had to ask for. We expected more communication during the time our dog was there and about how this happened and the steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again to any other pet/family. I immediately sent photos and videos to the school via email and text messages. They offered to pay the vet bill but have reneged on that commitment. We ended up having to take Argos to the emergency room. We did all we could to treat his injury but, unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. We ended up having to amputate his tail due to the extent of the injury. Obviously, we are very upset and concerned about his well-being. Their only feedback on the matter was: "try putting some neosporin on it and wrapping it. Also, you can try a liquid bandaid" We really hope other pet owners have a better experience.
