Norse Retrievers - labrador breeding & dog training

We had a not great experience with Norse Retrievers — be cautious if you plan to send your pet here. It seems they have too many dogs to train at once and don’t spend enough time with each. After almost four long months we expected our dog to be able to do the laundry list of tasks Mark said he would be able to do but this was not the case. We were told the program would be three months long —the first month and a half or so being obedience and the remaining time hunting training. After three long months we were so excited to pick up our dog but Mark requested to keep him two weeks longer. After three months of training? Really? We reluctantly agreed. After two weeks we called to pick up our dog but Mark again asked us for more time — one more day. He said “they had run into a little bump in the road” regarding their training. ONE MORE DAY?? It had been nearly four months, what is one more day going to do?! This was beyond frustrating. Our dog came home with some of the skills we were promised, but it was definitely not worth spending a couple thousand dollars and 1/3 of a year without our pet.
