About North Arkansas Kennel Club
What is NAKC? The North Arkansas Kennel Club, Inc. was founded in June 1990, by founding members, Sherry Gibbany, Pat Falvey (Looper), Betty Bezek, and Dr. Tammy Jones, DVM. In March 1993, our club was granted permission by the American Kennel Club to hold sanctioned B/OB matches. In 1999, we were granted permission to hold our first point show on April 22 and 23, 2000. Our Purpose: AKC is a non-profit organization devoted to the advancement and welfare of purebred dogs and the sport of dogs. NAKC is concerned with good breeding practices, proper care of dogs and maintenance of purebred dogs. NAKC promotes educational programs through schools, training classes, shows, and other club activities.
