I have a 1 y/o German shepherd that I got from the shelter. Before going to Jim my dog had 0 training and quite frankly was one of the rudest dog I’ve met. After just one obedience session he was no longer trying to pull at the leash and was calm around other pups. Not only this but after that one session my dog knew how to sit, stay, lay, come, and most importantly he learned NO on command. After our first session I realized that Jim not only teaches your dog but he teaches you how to gain your dogs respect, attention, and obedience.
We just finished our second training session and I am excited to see my dog exponentially improve as he did after the first session!

I took my dog, Ayiko, to petsmart for training and it went horrible couldn’t get my dog to stop lunging and being aggressive towards other dogs. Jim was able to get Ayiko to stop him from lunging and barking at other dogs on the first day! Jim was very helpful with working on his behavior and obedience.

We loved working with Jim Randolph from Top Dog Protection! Our dog Hugo was just 8 weeks old when we brought him for training and we just knew we were leaving him in very capable and professional hands for the very best training. Jim cared for Hugo like he was a family member and when we picked Hugo up he is the most well trained dog I have ever had! Jim communicated with us regularly providing updates and pictures and we were able to visit several times while Hugo was boarded. Jim also gave us practical suggestions and was very clear when training us as well.
I would highly recommend Top Dog Protection and Training. We love our very well trained dog.
