North County Canine Training

Late review, but I brought my husky to them after he had been severely attacked at a daycare by two pit bulls. He wasn’t the same around dogs anymore and Nick helped him get comfortable again and also trained him. Before he didn’t listen when called and could NEVER be trusted off leash. I am now successfully walking him off leash everyday and it has changed everything for us both. Thank you all so much for helping us get the old Loki back ♥️ we will forever be grateful to you guys!!

I have 2 dogs named Blue and Sophie. Unfortunately their nicknames are mayhem and anarchy. Blue beautiful blue Merle Queensland Heeler, was found running down the street with another dog in Los Banos in Merced county. Sophie a border collie, cattle dog mix lwas found under a bridge in southern San Diego County(she was tiny, feral and 4 months. Blue was missing teeth in all the wrong places and a very chunky monkey for a young pup. He had no manners. He is smart. He became potty trained in 2 days. There were many behavior issues. The previous trainer asked us to not return after several sessions.:(. It was disappointing. I really wanted to get him in a good place and to be a good dog. North county canine was recommended by a different organization. I am very thankful for Jessica and Dustin! I bought a package of 14 lessons. Even my neighbors noticed a difference in the behavior of my I’ll mannered dogs. Game changer- teaching my dogs to sit in place first thing in the morning. It took a few weeks. Once Blue stopped running under the dining room table, he actually stayed in place in his kennel first thing in the morning. I could actually have a cup of coffee without hurricane mayhem making chaos. A real game changer. Today, I participated in the Pack walk. We met at a hiking location that was one I have not attended. We had Nick as our trainer and he was awesome. He developed a personalized training program for both myself and my dog and the amount of improvement in just a couple of sessions was incredible. He helped with basic manners like sitting and laying down as well as eliminating play biting, jumping, and recall. The biggest achievement however was off leash walking and my dog is only 7 months old. I highly recommend to come here for any dog training.

Every session with them was top-notch: professional, engaging, and packed with visible progress that kept me motivated. They were so attentive, never missing a question, always circling back with thoughtful follow-ups, and digging into creative solutions when needed. Their knowledge blew me away, yet they stayed humble, polite, and genuinely pleasant to work with-made every visit feel like catching up with friends who just happen to be dog geniuses. The atmosphere? Warm, positive, no stress-just pure enjoyment watching my pup shine. Honestly, I’m forever grateful for this experience.
