North County Canine Training

I’ve been taking private lessons with Nick for a German shepherd I recently brought into my home. She’s been my first high drive dog and I needed help satisfying all her needs. He’s made the process so easy and fun and it’s helped me create such a good relationship with her. I drive an hour out of my way to come to lessons and it’s WELL worth it. The whole team there is super friendly and welcoming. And shout out to Keelan for being so helpful with all my scheduling needs!

Love their business. Great communication and the will to work through the struggles. I bought a 14 lesson package when it was available and my Belgian malinois is loving it over there at there facility. I’ve been working mostly with Nick and as soon as Coastal (my dog) recognizes where we’re at he gets noisy and ready to play. I’m about to purchase another package deal because this facility has been taking care of us since the day I got my free consultation. I strongly recommend north county canine training due to their max output of effort and care. Throughout my lessons I’ve also seen there other handlers take care of the other dogs there and seeing the amount of excitement and care from their handlers has made me comfortable as ever. I’m loving it over there I’d will definitely continue to train there. If your reading this review I hope this has helped.

Every member of their team is a professional and experts in their craft. For some context, our dog was a sweet, disobedient, mild dog aggressive, highly prey driven, and a bad leash puller. When our son was born she keyed in on him as prey and we could not have that. When I meet Dustin and Nick for the first time it was during one of the group obedience training they offer at a park near when we live. When I walked to them they greeting me with such kindness and perspective on how my dog was seeing the new born. The next week we had our initial meeting the Nick(one of the trainers) for courses of action for our dog. We opted for 14 classes in person on site with their team. This was the best option for us because it was as much training for my wife and I as for the dog. I genuinely believe that if we did not attend the in person trainings we would not have been as successful as we had. The dog will learn it but it was on us to develop, correct, and continue the training from North County. What we were needing for our dog was just basic obedience and group dog work. Nick, Abby, Nick, and Mira are great and scholars in these fields and from my perspective doing a great of at executing Jess and Dustin’s vision for North County. Jess the owner has gone completely out of her way to work with us to ensure that we have everything need to be successful at home with our dog and new baby. I could not give higher accolades to Jess, Dusting, Nick, Mira, Nick and the other members of their staff. If you are needing help with your dog or just want to do some awesome things with your dog (advance obedience, tracking, bite work) I wish you luck finding anyone more qualified or professional then North County.

Excellent place with a ton of knowledge. I have been taking my German Shepherd, Bella here since she was little and have never had a dog trained so well. I grew up with three German shepherd’s and Bella is completely on another level in regards to her training and behavior. I could tell Dustin was very knowledgeable since the first meeting. He has helped with any problems that came up along the way, aggression towards other dogs and even helped bella respect my young daughter as well. She listens to all her commands for my daughter as well and not just me. We have been working to certify Bella as my service animal and will be taking a test to certify her at the end of the month. Looking forward to that and in the future possibly looking into some of the tracking to give Bella something fun to do once her training is completed for service animal. All the staff is very helpful and Bella gets excited every time we go.
