Great training for competition dog sports, especially Obedience and Rally
Northfield is a well-run, clean and well-appointed facility. Terry McArdle is an excellent agility trainer--very good with early learners (dogs and people), as well as advanced students. Figgy and I have come a long way under her guidance. I highly reccommend traing with Terry and working at Northfield!
Don't take a class here in winter!! Don't take a class here in winter!! Our class was moved back 3 weeks due to an icy parking lot and while I don't mind missing 1 class, I'm now going to miss 2 (due to vacation planned months ago) which I do mind. The instructor offered private lessons to makeup the classes which is nice but not the point of class for us - we already took a basic class so I want the distractions of other dogs/people. I asked about pro-rating the cost and no-go. I assume no refund either since that wasn't offered. I can't imagine the people who signed up for puppy/beginner class and have been managing the last 3 weeks.
Canceled 3 weeks in a row. Never actually started classes here. Apparently they have the worst parking lot and can't seem to clear it of ice even when it's 37 and sunny. I don't recommend trying to take classes in the winter.
