Northshore Canine Academy

As the sister who dog-sits Daisy and Billie when their parents are out of town, let me just say… the training at Northshore Canine WORKED. Keeping them at my house is actually easy now. They listen, they chill, and they understand boundaries… which is more than I can say for most dogs and honestly, some people. No chaos, no constant correcting, no “why are you like this?” moments. They’re still playful, sweet, and love running around with my kid…but when it’s time to calm down and go inside, they’re on their best behavior. If you’ve ever been responsible for someone else’s dogs, you know that’s a big deal.

My daughter’s dogs, Daisy and Billie, went through Northshore Canine, and the difference has been easy to see. Their training definitely shows both in public and when they come to my house. My daughter brings both pups to ballgames, and even with all the activity, they’re calmer and easier to handle. At my house, they know the rules; they stay off the furniture and actually listen; which I truly appreciate. They’re still sweet and playful and clearly happy, just with much better manners. I’m very impressed with how well the training carried over, and I would absolutely recommend Northshore Canine to anyone looking for training that truly works.

I took my dog, Dexter to Northshore Canine Academy because he jumped on everyone, ran off would me instead of me walking him and when I picked him up he was a completely different dog. I now take him for walks instead if him pulling me, if I place him, he listens and even though he still gets exited with people and wants to lick them to death he doesn't jump on and maul them when they come to my door. He now runs to them, shakes his tail, and proceeds to lie down on the floor in front of them. Everyonce in a while and with certain favorite people he will jump up, but we are working on correcting that and success is really close. Best part about putting Dexter at Northshore Canine Academy is that now if I have to leave town I know I have a safe happy place that he can return to and to enjoy his visit as much as I'm enjoying mine Northshore Canine Academy offers great care and great training for your dog and for you as the owner. They are there to support you and help you with any problems or concerns. I highly recommend Northshore Canine Academy, they are not only a training facility that accepts and trains your dog, they become extended family to you and your dog.
