Northshore Canine Academy

Northshore Canine is where it’s at!!! Our pups, Billie Jean and Daisy Mae, went through the 3-week off leash program and came out smarter, calmer, and somehow even cuter (which I didn’t think was possible). The team knows their stuff! They called with weekly progress updates and posted social media updates so we could see our chaos in action turning into actual obedience. I’m not sure if they have a fountain of holy water the dogs drink from or what, but whatever magic they’re using, it works. Billie Jean was only 20 weeks when she entered training, a literal ball of chaos whose only command was “be cute". I could hardly believe it was the same dog when we picked her up! She came out executing commands like a tiny four legged ninja. Daisy Mae, just shy of her 2nd birthday, had previously done on leash training with Northshore Canine, so she already had some skills, but she came out of this program confident, calm, and basically ready to run the house. I HIGHLY recommend Northshore Canine if you want your pups to be more “yes ma’am” and less “I do what I want” (in my best South Park Cartman voice).

Northshore canine did the best job on our Dolly. Left us a wild puppy came home with manners and the ability to listen. Dolly loves to go back to board when we leave town and so do we.... Amber and Jimmy reenforce all she learned while in board and training, she comes home a happy camper with the manners she learned. This is our first German shepherd and because of her training with NCA, I now love the breed! Highly recommended!!

The fantastic team at Northshore Academy is nothing short of amazing. We would not leave our Andy and Elsie anyplace else when we go out of town. When we pull up to drop them off for boarding they are so excited and voicetrous and ready for their boarding vacation. 

Owners, Jimmy and Amber have created a beautiful, clean, and caring environment for our beloved dogs. Their training classes have a great safe hands on approach. Both of our rescue pups were trained by their great family team. Not only were they trained but we also had to learn the E-collar, certain walking methods to protect our pups from unleashed dogs and the prong collar. All training and tools we could not do without.. 

It is very pleasing to deal with such great people who care and love our 4 legged family members as if they were their own. The phenomenal service, care and friendship is what you will get at Northshore Canine Academy!!!

I sent my purebred chocolate lab to train with Amber and Jimmy and I was beyond impressed. From the ease of contact starting at the very beginning to a seamless drop off to the updates I got during training it surpassed every expectation I had. Amber and Jimmy put their heart and soul into training these dogs and it really shows. It’s very clearly their passion. I trust them wholeheartedly to take care of my dog because I know she’ll be treated as part of the family. I am truly blessed to have found them and I receive compliments constantly about how well-behaved my dog is and how well she listens. I brag about NCA every chance I get!
