NorthShore Canine Academy - Sophie Amphlett

Sophie was great with my 11 month old mini Bernadoodle. My sweet puppy loves people and animals too much!! She gets so excited when she sees someone she can hardly contain herself. She also started running out the door. Sophie showed me how to address these behaviors and we are doing so much better. Her training technique is positive and Kaia simply loved working with Sophie. Sophie has an incredible talent training dogs as well as their humans! She is patient and passionate. She has a bag full of tools to help train your dog, and they really work! We have a 9 month old Golden Retriever who should have been named Dennis the Menace!! Within a couple of weeks following Sophie’s advice our Golden is a pleasure.

Sophie is wonderful! We brought her in to help our 10-week old puppy learn basic commands and our 10-year old doodle adjust to his new roommate. As soon as she walked through the door, Sophie immediately got right to training both of our pups. Would highly recommend Sophie for all your dog training needs.

Thank you Sophie! In just two sessions with Sophie she was able to get my new dog to follow all her commands (and mine) fear free treat based no discipline which I was very happy with. I feel confident with my new adolescent dog that he will become a well trained dog now that we know how to train together. Sophie even turned training into games with our dog which he loved!
