We had Sophie help with our 2 month old puppy. In just a few sessions, she had our dog under control and paying attention to her. We were able to watch what she did and use her techniques to continue training. Sophie has a gentle, but firm touch and relies on positive reinforcement to control behavior. It works! She is very knowledgeable about dogs, their reactions, and how to get them to respond. She willingly shares her best tips and resources for new puppies. We highly recommend her and would definitely use her again when the need arises.
Sophie is one of the rare people in the Chicago area who actually knows what she’s doing. If you have any issues at all with your dog, she’s the one to go to. I have found dog resources and walkers severely lacking in expertise in this area since moving here and I’m grateful Sophie is here to help.
Sophie is a wonderful trainer! My 6 month old yellow lab and I were able to get in some sessions while I was visiting family during Thanksgiving. Purdy is so much better with just 3 sessions. Will definitely have more sessions when we return. Sophie is so knowledgeable and doesn't make you feel intimidated, she genuinely wants what's best for you and your furry family member.
Sophie clearly knows her stuff and taught our new dog sit and stay really quickly. She also gave us some excellent tips to deal with alert barking. We'll be bringing her back for another session!
