NorthShore Canine Academy - Sophie Amphlett

We brought home a golden retriever puppy in June and enlisted Sophie after reading all of the great reviews. We were not disappointed. We started with 4 training sessions, which got our puppy off to a great start and helped drill those basic/essential commands in early on. Sophie was tremendously helpful in sharing resources, further training opportunities, boarding recommendations, puppy related items, etc. Money very well spent. She had my puppy’s attention the moment she walked in the door and opened my eyes to simple tweaks I could make to improve training outcomes. She even involved my kids in some of the training sessions to get everyone on the same page. Highly recommend Sophie!

We had such an incredible experience working with Sophie! From the moment we reached out, she was supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping us set our mini Bernedoodle up for success. Not only did she provide fantastic tips on how to prepare our home and what essentials to buy, but her hands-on training sessions were incredibly effective. Sophie worked patiently with our pup, helping her respond to commands confidently and consistently, all while making the process fun and positive for both us and her. We walked away from each session feeling more equipped and empowered as dog parents. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares, communicates clearly, and brings a ton of expertise to the table. Our puppy (and our sanity!) are better because of Sophie. Thank you!
