NorthShore Canine Academy - Sophie Amphlett

I can't recommend Sophie enough! She is an amazing dog trainer and has a real talent for understanding dogs and what they need. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and made the training session a very cool experience. My dog responded so well to her techniques and managed to replicate them without her. Sophie also took the time to explain everything clearly and gave me great tips to continue reinforcing the training at home (a guide). If you're looking for a skilled and caring trainer, Sophie is the best choice!

We were in desperate need of some help with training. We called Sophie and she was quick to respond and pay us a visit. She walked in with a bag full of supplies and suggestions to assist us with our training. She filled us with tons of ideas and suggestions in the first hour of training with her. She really knows how to get a puppies attention and does not use any negative association. We will definitely reach out to Sophie for further training sessions, we were happy customers.

I found Sophie/NorthShore Canine Training Academy online read through her many 5 star reviews, and knew she could help with our recently adopted (3 weeks at our home) sibling shih tzu mix young dogs. We didn't know where to start with these two. Our dogs were friendly but nervous, and acted aggressively when being walked. Accidents in the house, general training skills nonexistent. Sophie could read their personalities, observe the differences between the two and set out to provide guidance and suggestions for training, better behavior and to keep them happy, adjusted and occupied. It is amazing to watch her interact with the dogs, and how they react to her wonderful, calm demeanor! We are putting her suggestions to practice, and keeping her on speed dial! I highly suggest contacting Sophie if you have doggies that need training, or don't know where to begin with training. Sophie is so helpful, give her a try!
