Norton Dog Training

Norton took wonderful care of my timid rescue pup Orla. I signed her up for the month long board and train and i couldn't have picked a better place for my dog. All of the basics were covered and not only that, they really focus on each dogs individual needs. I loved the fact that there were staff on site 24/7, i never had to worry about her wellbeing. Thank you to all the trainers and staff for your work with my girl!

Just picked up my 1.5 year old sighthound from a 4-week board and train. Before, during, and after the course I met in total at least 7 or 8 people who work there including the owners and every one was genuinely and fully in love with my dog. These are dog people! I was worried about sending my dog to a prison or strict military environment but it was warm and loving, just disciplined. They care and take the time to let the dogs be dogs and to firmly but kindly teach the dogs basic obedience. I started in a free group class open house in the parking lot, had great communication with two different people before deciding to sign him up for the 4-week program, and then while my boy was there I got photos and updates on his progress, and then Brad Norton himself met me on pickup day to teach me the basic rules for his transition back home. We met a couple days later for reinforcement, and will do it again as needed. I was 50/50 on whether or not I would be able to maintain the training and not let him slip back into bad habits at home, but the second visit a couple days later made me feel VERY confident. They don’t just give your dog back and let you undo the training. They want you and your dog to succeed. I am so glad I trusted them with my baby. He is still the same dog I dropped off, but I know how to communicate with him now so that he understands what I want and I don’t confuse him or set him up for failure. If ur looking for a dog trainer for obedience, services dog training , and or therapy training this is the place to go to! They love the dogs like their own and it’s like a big family of dog lovers! I went and tour their new facility and it’s the PERFECT in door facility!! They have GREAT staff to love on ur babies and the facility is so well kept! I would trust them with my 2 legged babies and 4 legged babies! I have know the Nortons for about 13 years and they have become family. They take all the training dogs and their personal dogs to the vet where I work and that’s how I met them!

I took my dog to Norton Dog Training for their board and train program and it was the best decision I've made for him! He listens so well and I can finally take him for walks with me and not feel like I'm being taken for a walk instead! The commands that he learned are simple and he knows them and follows them so well! After his training, i met with the trainers for several lessons after so they could teach me how to use the knowledge that my dog learned. They were so helpful and answered my many questions! I love that they also hold classes regularly at their facility and i can get further knowledge through that if need be! The investment was well worth it and you can tell that they really care about mine and my dogs well being!
