Exceptional Training and Care! We couldn't be happier with our experience at Northwest Arkansas School for Dogs! The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their owners succeed. Oliver started his training when he was 12 weeks old, and over three and a half years later, he still loves going to school. We adopted another dog from the Fayetteville Animal Shelter last summer, and NWA School for Dogs was our top choice for Ellie’s training. The trainers are incredibly skilled and patient, and they understand both of our dogs’ unique personalities and needs. At five months old, Ellie was very fearful and suffering from an extreme lack of confidence when we adopted her from the shelter, but the trainers’ positive reinforcement methods quickly built her self-confidence, and we saw noticeable improvements in her attitude and behavior within just a few sessions. The facility is clean, well-organized, and clearly designed with dogs' safety and comfort in mind. It's obvious that everyone truly cares about the animals they work with. I enrolled two young impulsive toy golden doodles in obedience training once they were fully vaccinated. These two love everyone. They love going to school and they love the staff. They play nicely with other dogs and spent about 18 months in training two days a week. I continued with day care one day a week for about a year and now they go as needed. The staff is great about working on specific commands when they’re in daycare and need a refresher!
