I had prior skepticism to this dog training/daycare facility just from the reviews alone. After talking to one of the workers over the phone about their program and hearing their training methods, i became even more wary. When pets misbehave/act out the trainers would use a spray bottle filled with water and some other substance thats supposedly "dog friendly" and squirt it at the dogs face. They also only reward with love and praise rather than food and treats. I understand that part. And can respect it. But not all dogs would be receptive to training using those methods. After seeing and hearing how the workers at this facility approaches situations, it honestly scarred me. I was always taught to take your time, be patient, and always reward for the small victories your pup accomplishes. These workers approach situations with force, and dominance. Perfect example: when they attempted to put a collar on a dog, instead of taking their time and letting the pup sniff the collar and get accustomed to seeing it, the worker decides it is a good idea to pin the dog to the couch corner and FORCE the collar onto the dog. Even when he was scared, cowering in fear, and barking incessantly. Once the collar was on, the worker starts praising and petting the pup for being "ok" with the collar. And the main trainer Howard is an elder who looks too frail to be dealing with larger breeds of dogs... He relies on his old methods of teaching. Please for your dogs sake, do NOT take your pup here for any of their services! Absolute trashh.
