Obedience Training Class

beware. We did not have a positive experience. I know it is divisive, but trainer wanted us to spray our dog with a water bottle for barking. She was rude. I felt biased against, so we left in the middle of the class when I told her I wasn't going to spray my dog. I want to work with someone who is going to do positive reinforcement. As we were walking out I was told I was not able to train my dog. Hugely disappointing in this day and age, we were so hopeful given the positive reviews. Good luck.

My mini schnauzer was trained thru OTCH in 2003 and 2004 and went on to become a therapy pet visiting shut-in’s in nursing homes. Now I have another mini-Schnauzer who I am training with at OTCH, and hopefully when she is old enough to test, she will qualify to be a therapy pet. The volunteers at OTCH are the best around. They are very hard working, helping and caring and would definitely recommend them with a 5 star plus 🤗
