Obedient BLUE “School for dogs”

I cannot say enough good things about Lyndsey and Obedient Blue! I sent my sweet Rosie there at 9 months old to get some much needed training in manners and basic obedience. I have never trusted anyone with my dogs in the past, but I’m so glad I took a leap of faith with Lyndsey and chose to do a 4 week board and train with her. After almost 4 weeks, it is clear that this has paid off. Not only does Rosie clearly absolutely love Lyndsey, but she is a completely different pup in the best way! She still has all her puppy energy, but she now has the skills to control it. More importantly, Lyndsey has trained not just Rosie but me as well. She has been incredibly patient and thoughtful. It wasn’t one size fits all. She took into consideration our particular home life, my kids and their ages, and what we need. If you are on the fence about doing this, do it. It is worth it and you won’t regret it!!

I can't say enough how great Lyndsey and Obedient Blue has been. I had an emergency situation and had to get Petey out of a bad place. Lyndsey took him in right away. He was very timid and scared. He warmed up to Lyndsey right away and she helped me to get him to warm up to me. She kept him for a few months until we found foster care for him. She continues to stay involved with her expert advice and help in finding him a furrever home.

Our senior foster hound presented Lyndsey with all kinds of challenges. He had been mistreated or abused, and seemed to get along just fine with everyone - except my husband who he lunged at and attacked a number of times. (Nothing too serious but nothing we want to live with, either.). We didn’t have his history. He came and instantly became life threatening sick so everything was on hold. We live an hour or more away. And we couldn’t find a trigger for the behavior. Our rescue recommended Lyndsey and Obedient BLUE, and she has given us instructions that we can do and that make a difference. Then onto the next step, and the same. The progress we have made - our big beautiful boy and also us, because this isn’t just him it’s about all of us - in just a few short weeks is amazing.

I can enthusiastically recommend Lyndsey and Obedient Blue for all training needs for your dogs. I have know Lyndsey for a dozen years and have closely observed her training techniques with dogs. She has the requisite skills to provide all levels and degrees of dog training. Lyndsey has the perfect mix of skills, patience, care, demeanor, encouragement and firmness to make her a top notch dog trainer. As an animal sanctuary operator (of which Lyndsey has been a long time volunteer), I am very attuned to what others bring to their work with animals, and Lyndsey brings all those things. Again, I highly recommend Lyndsey for all of your dog's training needs.
