Obedient K-9

We first looked into Obedient K-9 because of the location convenience. Did a bit more research and spoke to Anissa on the phone and ended up booking Puppy Preschool with her that day. SO GLAD WE DID. I didn’t know what to expect from a 90 minute class, and wasn’t sure it was going to help us accomplish our training and obedience goals, but figured we would give it a shot. The 90 minutes is more for the owners than it is for the puppy (which is important!) - she will give you all the tools you need to be successful! She includes handouts, resources, and she has even gone out of her way to check in with us and offer additional support! I have a Vet Tech degree and am admittedly a bit skeptical of dog trainers sometimes, not knowing which direction their information will go. Anissa genuinely knows what she is talking about and cares about helping her clients raise obedient, happy, well-behaved dogs. She goes over topics including potty training, leash training, commands, confidence, veterinary care, comfort around vet staff/strangers, crate training, toys/food/treats, etc., along with several exercises she has planned. We asked her additional questions and she gave great advice that we genuinely haven’t thought of (even when we feel like we’ve exhausted all options). I would recommend her to anyone needing professional obedience and training support!
