Dillon is fantastic I have a 8 month old Aussie border collie puppy named Loki he was chewing on everything and would take off when outside on his leash every-time he saw a person or another dog and rip the leash out of my dads or my hand. Now he ignores people and other dogs when we are walking even when off leash. He doesn’t chew on anything he’s not supposed to. I was very worried about the e-collar training but Dillon has showed me that it is a safe way to train my pup and he’s doing fantastic I couldn’t ask for a better out come!

We have a now year old very active catahoula puppy. It has been over 40 years since we had a puppy! Get a puppy, they said, it will be fun, they said:) We were struggling to get ours to listen and obey. Could not find any trainers in the I70 corridor to work with us. Even the vet could not find anyone. We saw a review from someone in Bennett, about Dillon, with high reviews. I called Dillon; got the low down on the cost, length of training, etc. He came out for a free consult to our home and to meet our then 10 month old puppy, Josi. I believe it was the same day we called. We immediately connected with him and 2 months later have a very well behaved 1 year old puppy! Dillon is worth every penny and every hour we spent with him! He trained us to work with our puppy, worked with us in our environment, eventually met us at different locations: Lowes, a park, Tractor Supply, etc to expose Josi to various surroundings; brought his dogs to our home to socialize with our dog. He gave very positive and honest feedback to us, during our sessions. Unlike other trainers that take your dog and train them, he has very little interaction (after the first meeting) with the dog so the dog responds to you rather than the trainer. We HIGHLY recommend him, especially if you have a high energy, stubborn puppy or dog.

My hunt for a dog trainer began when I recently moved into a new house. I previously tried to have my dogs behavior issues corrected by a facility training/group sessions with no success and financial loss. On this hunt I wanted to find a trainer that did more of a private session/teaching. Searching “dog trainers near me” I found Dillon who was within walking distance which is great as I work a lot and that was an issue with the previous training I had done. Within the first 2-3 sessions I was already having confidence instilled that my dog was going to be no longer giving me anxiety when in public or hiking trails and with Dillon’s reassurance this came true. Prior to Dillon’s training Riley had some overactive/hyper energy meeting other dogs that I had trouble distinguishing and since I rescued her and she is an “aggressive breed” I would get anxiety tendency when she met other dogs due to peoples judging a book by its cover. Ultimately , within the first few sessions Dillons program paid off and the tools he gives and guidance you will be set for life time with your dog. For the past year I had Riley she was always tethered close when in public and muzzled along with never going to parks. Now she is a weekend park goer along with a long leash/off leash dog when we are getting lost in the mountains

Dillon was amazing! The difference in my pup’s confidence is astonishing. Instead of teaching her learned obedience, his training allowed for her to just be a dog but still understand that there are expectations for her. I was skeptical about using the collar at first, but seeing how much faster she was learning with it changed my mind. This training only takes a few weeks and he is very flexible with scheduling and will go out of his way to accommodate for any changes. I am a college student who wanted to train their dog before classes started and Dillon insisted to come up to my apartment to make sure she is handling the changes well and help to train her in the new environment. Bella and I are very grateful to have worked with Dillon!

Being in the military, my schedule tends to fluctuate and move around A LOT, also living on post tends to be a challenge for a lot of trainers. Not for Dillon though, he was super understanding of my situation and flexible. He was even able to come On to the base where I live in to do our training. My dog went from an uncontrollable potential hazard for anyone she came close to, or came to my house, to an of leash loving dog and playful dog. We as owners didn’t understand that but Dillon really helped us understand our dog! Thank you again Dillon, you are the best
