FirstBarkMaggie was a great trainer. Our dog Beamer came home from two week board and train a different and much better dog. She communicated daily and provided clear instructions on how and why to continue training at home. I B would recommend her.

Nevermind I found my answer, also will the dog need to wear the e-collar everywhere she goes after the 2 weeks or will it no longer be necessary
The e-collar will need to be worn into the future if you have your dog off-leash. The dog can be trained to respond via the collar even if out of sight, it also has a great strobe light on it that helps keep track of your dog in the dark and allows the dog to be safely off-leash, as you van communicate via the collar remote if the dog doesn't respond immediately to your verbal command. Sometimes the dog just needs a little tap on the neck via the collar when distracted, etc.

Just wanted to say thank you to Maggie! She did an amazing job setting an amazing foundation for our pup Copper…and training us which I’d argue is the most important! She wasn’t shy about correcting us during pick up to ensure we have the right skills to continue the behaviors we want and eliminate negative behaviors! I was initially worried about e-collar training but she walked us through the entire set up and we got to feel it before we began. Our pup is clearly over dramatic and likes to whine at a level I can’t even feel 😂 he returned home just as spunky but with much more desire to listen and do. She set realistic expectations and improved our understanding of our pup! I cannot recommend enough!

We worked with Maggie to give our two young, high energy, stubborn large dogs some better training after struggling to do it ourselves for a year. And it's been life changing. This training is more than a command or obedience. It's discipline, stronger communication, clearer expectations, confidence building, and having a better relationship with our dogs. Our dogs have a better sense of boundaries and we have built the trust needed to take them places we wouldn't have before. We are so excited to explore the world with our pups stress free! Maggie is so knowledgeable, funny and easy to work with. She had an answer for every question, even unrelated to what we were training. She helped us understand the different personality and needs of our dogs and gave us the tools to get the best results with each. We'll miss working with here now that our dogs have graduated.

We had a great experience with Off Leash so far. We did the board and train with our 2.5 year old Aussie/cattle dog/foxhound mix who is a handful and wants to have a job. We used Liberty for our board and train and she was fantastic - she updated us everyday and explain all of the things we needed to do when we met back up with her. I could tell our boy had been working hard, but in the best way possible!
Maggie was amazing with both of our dogs! We did the two week board and train and it made a huge difference. If you are on the fence, just do it!
