Off Leash K9 Training

Jacqueline Zinetti has been a lifesaver for our family. We have a year old goldendoodle who struggled with counter surfing and being too rough with kids and family members when playing. He's a good boy but just needed some manners and she delivered. I wish we could give her a million stars! She is knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and delivers. Our family is now happy and our puppy is thriving. He is so well mannered, great on the leash, and doesn't even attempt to counter surf anymore. He obeys and plays so nicely with our children. We cannot thank her enough. We have a new dog thanks to her!

Jacqueline Zinetti is an amazing trainer. I grew up with dogs and never thought I would need a trainer until we adopted a rescue puppy, Luna. Luna’s DNA revealed that she is an Australian Shepherd (1/3), Australian Cattle Dog (1/3), Mountain Cur (1/6), and Pitbull mix (1/6). She has more energy than I have ever seen. Jacqueline was recommended by my veterinarian and one of my clients. After speaking with other trainers and other dog owners who had used training, I decided I couldn’t ignore that two people I trusted were giving me the same name. From the first call, I appreciated her confidence. She thoroughly explained the e collar as an aide and got me comfortable with it. So three weeks later, we dropped off our puppy. She went through the process, showed us the e collar and even had us hold it to feel what Luna would feel. It doesn’t hurt but it does get your attention. During the three weeks, Jacqueline kept us up to date with videos and pictures. She promptly responded to me the times that I texted. Luna became part of her pack/family and learned how to behave. When we picked her up, she still was high energy but now had a purpose. Upon receiving a command, she would instantly settle down and do what was asked of her. Since bringing her home, a couple of months ago at this point, she continues to be well behaved and is just happy. Before training (we believe due to being a rescue and having to fight for food), she would eat her food in about 10 seconds. After training, she now eats more slowly and doesn’t seem to think its her last meal. We can eat without her begging, jumping on us, barking and threatening to grab something if we look away. Now she goes and lays down. She will share her toys with us and not guard them. She still gets the zoomies, but all we have to do is stand and say come and she stops and follows. One of our goals was to have a dog that we can hike and walk with off leash. Before training, I was too scared to even attempt no leash for the fear she would smell/see another dog, deer, etc. and be gone. Now, we can and do allow her to go off leash – she happily runs through the woods around us and instantly returns to our side when called. We have encountered deer and she has chased them, but returns quickly with a push of the button on the e collar. The best decision that we made was trusting Jacqueline. Luna is now happy, well-adjusted and safe. We have a confident, well-mannered dog that we can take anywhere. We 100% recommend Jacqueline Zinetti!

We found the awesome Jacqueline Zinetti by way of an internet search. We blindly called about the problems we were having with our 16 month old labrador retreiver. She was warm and welcoming on the telephone and after considering all of the factors, we decided to sign our puppy up for the 3 week board and train program. Jacqueline was very good with communication during the training and we were excited to receive pictures and videos of her progress. When we picked up our dog after the training, she was a whole new dog. She is still the same sweet personality, but now she is calm, submissive and actually listening!! After our dog completed the 3 week course at "Harvard" (as Aunt Jack jokingly calls her program), Jacqueline "trained" us for what I can estimate to be another 6+ hours. She is generous in her time, showing by example and answering all of our questions. She had us send videos of our training sessions and spent hours on the phone with us explaining every detail of what we did correct and incorrect. We did three in-person follow up trainings (tip, do not skip those - they were priceless). We could not be more thrilled with the investment, both time and financial, we spent with Jacqueline Zinetti. Not only did we get a perfectly trained, angel dog, but now have Aunt Jack for the rest of our dog's life as a support system and resource. Signing up with Jacqueline Zinetti was the best choice for our family!

Our experience with Jacqueline Zinetti has been life changing. If I could give 1000 stars I would. If I was ever skeptical of E-collars, I’m not anymore!! We just got our soon to be 7month old puppy back & life is beautiful!!! Jacqueline not only put the time in with him but continues to put the time in with us as well. You without a doubt will receive exactly what you are looking for and more with her training. Walks are so much more enjoyable, our puppy no longer pulls us around on the leash and is now a gentleman Meeting new people. He is also no longer a menace inside the house. The change is incredible & if you’re worried about your dog’s personality changing like I was, there is no need. He’s still the biggest mush and silly boy, only difference is his Harvard diploma! Jacqueline we can’t thank you enough!! Trust me, this woman is who you need.

Jacqueline is phenomenal. I was looking for a dog trainer near me in Ridgewood New Jersey and after speaking with many I decided to go with Jacqueline Zinetti. I brought her my 2-year old German Shepherd/Husky mix who was sweet as pie but a complete menace inside the house as well as outside in public.  She was totally out of control barking, jumping and pulling beyond belief. This is my first dog and I thought I was doing everything right according to other peoples opinions and what I read on the internet. Wow! Was I wrong! Jacqueline’s 3 week board & train completely transformed my dog. Nova is now an obedient, well-mannered pleasure to be around. Jacqueline was professional, transparent, effective, passionate and kind to both of us through the whole process! I was a bit nervous at first when it came to learning how to use the remote as I didn't want to hurt my baby!! Jacqueline stuck with me every step of the way and made sure I knew exactly how to handle my newly trained girl!  She treated my dog like she was a part of her pack. Jacqueline’s drive to succeed and train each dog as well as their human is unmatched. Ridgewood NJ can be a very busy town and I can now confidently walk Nova through town, go sit outside for dinner and truthfully bring her anywhere because I know she will behave like a champ! When I went to pick Nova up, Jacqueline was extremely thorough in explaining how to execute each command. She will help you with the mistakes you are making along the way which is so very important. You will make mistakes! Its ok...It will take you a couple of weeks to get the gist of it, but once you do, it’s easy breezy and you wont have to think about it. Once nova was home I sent Aunt Jacq videos every couple of days and we went over them screen by screen. This was so important for ME to learn and do better the next day in between the in person follow ups. These two parts of the after training for the human is what I think really made it all come together. She remains on bat line 4 months later if I have any questions at all. The way she teaches is passionate yet authoritative. Her service is A+++ and I couldn’t recommend anyone better than Jacqueline to train your dog. I recently moved to Italy and my pup will be coming to join me now that she is wonderfully trained! I cant wait to have her! I am forever grateful to have met such a remarkable person and role model.
