Off Leash K9 Training, Birmingham

We did the board and train program for our Bernedoodle, who is going to go live with my older parents. We wanted her to be well mannered so she was easy for them to take care of. Scheduling and Drop off was a breeze and we had to board her anyway for our beach trip so it was great to get boarding and initial training done together. Ashton contacted us multiple times before to give us information and see if we had any requests or issues to work on with her. He came and picked her up in the morning and kept us updated during her entire stay with a run down of every day including pictures and videos.. He dropped her off after our trip and gave us a rundown of her training and how to continue on. We haven’t used the support yet, but it is a nice bonus in case we need help continuing her training. She is doing great and we plan to do the four week training in the fall with our other Bernedoodle.

I was having a hard time training Shadow. I started looking for boarding training facility.(Doing it on my own and going to the one day week classes was not working for Shadow or I.) I came across Off Leash K9 Training. I looked on the page an saw that it wasn’t a military dog training(lol) I took the first step and contacted the office. I receive a return call to set up shadow for his training. I was notified that Ashton would be Shadow’s trainer and the dates for that his class would start and begin. I was nervous about the training but we needed. This was the first time he had been away from me for more than a day. Drop off we met Ashton. He was so nice and calming. We went over somethings to make sure that I knew what the training was about. He explained the whole process as far as his training and what to expect. First day he was gone I was worried. Then I received my update message with a picture. I calmed down. I got very detailed information and videos about Shadow. Each day my anxiety of him being gone eased. The training that he received from Ashton is better than any training that I could have given Shadow. He has climbed down. He listens more. This means that he gets more freedom. I can walk out the the door with him without the leash and not fear that is going jet off like a track star. I have been trying to get Shadow to get in the car own is own for a while. Now he jumps up in the car with no hesitation. Even if I am trying to clean out the car. He think each times the door opens we are suppose to leave the house. Saying all this to say this. Ashton thanks for coming into Shadow and I our lives. We both have calmed down now that we are both on the same page. He is still sill and stubborn at times. (But I am learning that this is his personality(lol). Thank Ashton for all the detailed accounts and videos of Shadows process. I am extremely grateful that he was able to be trained by you. If any one is looking to have their beloved dog trained please consider Ashton as your trainer. I can not say enough good things about his transformation. Thanks again.

I have 2 Bernedoodles that are the sweetest dogs, but they ran our house! I dreaded taking them on walks, couldn’t take them out in public without causing a scene or just leaving after 5 mins! A friend of mine told me about OffLeash and I called for a consultation! After the first lesson, Justin assured me that their issues were completely solvable! My 1.5 y/o, Riggs, did the 4 week basic training and my 3 y/o, Remi, did the 8 week advanced. To say they are completely different dogs would be an understatement!!! My fiancée and I actually ENJOY taking them out of the house, walking around our neighborhood and playing in the field behind our house. I will never be able to thank Justin and OLK9 enough for the time, effort and skills that allowed me to take back control over my two fur-babies!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Jana! She has been an incredible help with our dog Louei. Thanks to her guidance, he is now noticeably calmer, more respectful of boundaries, and overall a much happier and balanced pup.
