Off Leash K9 Training Cincinnati

My pup Yeti just completed the 1 week board and train! We worked with Crista and she has been so easy to work with and very knowledgeable! We are very happy with our pups progress in just a week. Yeti was not a bad dog before this training, he knew what his basic obedience commands meant but we struggled getting him to follow through with the commands, especially with distractions around. Taking him on walks was once embarrassing and very difficult in new places as he really didn't have much confidence. He also had a few minor unwanted behaviors like jumping and chasing the cat. When we dropped Yeti off, it was an easy process and I felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby with Crista for a week. Crista sent us daily updates on how Yeti was doing with training and what all they worked on and his progress. I couldn't believe how quickly he was progressing! I could see his confidence growing in each video she sent. Crista had also sent a video days before pick up about the e collar so we knew how it was being used and how we would be using it at home. When it came time to pick up, it was an easy transition! When Crista walked over with Yeti, I couldn't believe that was my dog. They walked towards me and Yeti walked in the most perfect heel I've ever seen him do, and then she released him from his Heel command and dropped the leash and he came over to me! I couldn't believe he was even off leash with distractions everywhere! Such an incredible transformation. Crista observed while I went through the commands with Yeti and answered any and all questions that I had. There was a lot to go over but Crista sent me a video and a virtual training manual so everything was easily accessible for reference if I forgot anything we went over. The video and virtual training manual are very easy to understand and follow so you can continue to stay consistent in training you pup. Crista has also been responsive to questions that I had after training. I am so grateful for Off Leash K9 Cincinnati and Crista! This training has really transformed my pup into the best boy. I have been able to take Yeti pretty much anywhere and he is no longer embarrassing. He responds extremely well to all of his commands, and he can hold them, even with distractions. 10/10 would recommend training your pup here. It is worth every penny 😊

Our puppy Thor is a crazy one. If you’ve ever seen those videos of Golden Retrievers going absolutely crazy… that’s him—and more! And let’s not even get started on his strength! 😂 We had Cara as Thor’s trainer, and I was especially glad to have a female trainer because I wanted Thor to learn that he needed to listen to me just as much as he listens to my husband. Cara achieved what I honestly thought was impossible. Thor was ONLY food-motivated (like most Goldens), and without treats, it was incredibly difficult to get him to listen to us. Now, thanks to Cara, he can do everything from basic commands to much more complex ones—without food! Since the day we dropped him off, Cara sent us daily updates and videos of how Thor was doing, and it was incredible to see the progress he was doing from day one. Yes, DAY ONE! She was literally an angel with our baby boy. She was firm when she needed to be, but at the same time, she treated him like he was one of her own. I also loved that Thor got to be at her house and practice door manners as well as not eating whatever he found on the floor (yes, he would eat everything, especially paper/tissues/mail). He also got to be around other dogs and learn how to be a good boy in different situations. Cara took Thor to different places so he would get exposure, and it was amazing to see the daily videos at the parks, shopping center, and even to a creek! Thor looked so happy in all the videos, especially the last day when he got to be in the water running around. Cara met what I can only describe as a menace of a dog… and turned him into a gentleman! 😂 And honestly, the best part is that Thor’s personality never changed. We still have our goofy, funny, loving boy—he just got a HUGE upgrade! He listens, behaves so much better, and we can actually enjoy all of his personality without constantly trying to keep up with him. The day of pickup was such a sweet reunion. He went absolutely crazy, as expected, but once we started the training part (which was also about training us so we could continue working with Thor at home), he did so well! The entire time, we kept thinking, “Do we have a new dog?!” But I knew he was ours because of his birthmark. 😂 We had a decent amount of questions, and Cara was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. She didn’t just train Thor—she trained us, too, and that has made such a huge difference. Words will never be enough to thank Cara and the entire program for such an amazing experience, and especially for taking care of our boy the way she did. We are so grateful we found her and would recommend her to anyone who wants not only a well-trained dog, but a happier and more enjoyable relationship with their pup. P.S. I kept sharing Thor’s daily videos with my mom, mother-in-law, and a few friends, and they were ALL shocked by how quickly he was improving! A couple of them even asked me, “Does she also train husbands??” 😂
