Off Leash K9 Training Delaware

Amazing results from the 2 week board and train! With the help of Offleash and our trainer Marquis, our dog can live a better life. Our 3 year old German Shepard was easily distracted outdoor, pulled on the leash, and was very nervous around other people and dogs, it became hard to even take her on a walk around the block. In just two weeks, she has become so much more confident and obedient and now we can feel confident bringing her anywhere. Marquis gave us daily updates, photos and videos, answers to all of our questions, and overall great communication. He treated our dog like his own and we are so thankful. I cannot say enough good things about Offleash K9 Delaware. Thank you!!

The short story is: You are making the right decision if you send your pup to their two week boarding and training. The long story is: I have a 7-month-old Cane Corso named Biggie, who is 102 pounds and strong. Before he got any larger, I decided it was time to get him "real" training. Sorry to offend anyone that takes their dog for pet store training, but my Cane Corso needed something a bit more advanced. I first compared Off Leash K9 Training Delaware with other nearby dog training facilities, and I saw that Off Leash has three times the reviews of the next most rated facility, while still receiving 4.8 stars --pretty impressive. Needless to say, I decided to go with Off Leash. My trainer is Marquis (Quis). Though Biggie has been back home for 5 days, Quis has made it clear that he will remain to be our forever trainer. Long story short: From the onset, Quis took his time explaining to me what to expect from training and the significance of the eCollar. I felt comfortable leaving Biggie with Quis, and before I knew it, Quis shared training video after training video and picture after picture --documenting every bit of Biggie's journey. I watched my Biggie-boy maintain his puppy personality, while learning how to be obedient. Biggie now obeys the commands: "sit" and "come" and he has learned to understand and obey the commands: "heel," "place," "down," and "break." These commands have helped me to be alpha for my Biggie. Quis' training has allowed me to communicate in a way that is tempered and measured. Biggie now "places" in his crate without protest or dissatisfaction, when he has never really used a crate. Biggie now walks the neighborhood at "heel" on a loose leash, when he used to literally take the leash in his mouth to walk "me" back to the house. Biggie now waits for me to walk into any space while obediently maintaining a "sit," and he will not move a muscle until I give him the command, "Come." If I have him in a "sit," while preparing his bowl to feed him, he will not approach or take from his bowl until I say in a high pitched tone, "Break!" I use "down" to put him in a comfortable position after a long walk or bedtime. It is the most submissive stance, and Biggie and I see it as a true sign of his deference to the one giving the command. I have to say the command combinations are endless, and the eCollar has been a reinforcement to the training that Biggie now understands as a way of life for us --thanks to Quis. If I can briefly describe Biggie and my experience with Quis and Off Leash, I would say, "Five Stars!" (NOTE: The pictures are of Biggie in a "down").

My friend had previously scheduled 1:1 classes weekly but had an accident the week before training started. I took Creed on his first two training sessions with Alexis. She was so patient and great with Creed and I. We decided that it would be better if we did the board and train because my friend would not be able to walk without a walker for 6 weeks. Hands down, best decision we could’ve made. Creed is a puppy and would only sit on command but would not stay sitting. He spent 2 weeks with Marquis. We received multiple pictures/videos throughout the day. We both felt like he was a part of their family with the interactions with Marquis’ wife and his other fur babies. That’s very comforting. Creed is so well behaved. Even when we met for pick-up and for Marquis to go over everything, he stayed sitting. I am usually greeted with a hug that involves him running and jumping on me at full speed. There was none of that. He’s been home for two days and there hasn’t been any issues. Marquis explained that even though the board and train is done, he’s still here for us and to reach out if we needed anything. He even checked in with us to see how he was doing since coming home. We have an appt next month for a refresher just to make sure we all are doing well with the transition. I can not thank Off Leash K9 Training for everything they have done for us.
