Our puppy under a year was having issues walking on the leash, wouldn’t stay in a command and distractions were a problem. Of course with him being a puppy it’s understandable but it was to the point he wouldn’t sit or lay for more than a few seconds and he was off. Huge puppy energy, on the leash he would pull so much I even tried a collar with prongs on it to try to limit the pulling. Didn’t work. We reached out to K9 off leash for this pup (4th dog in program) and Marquis did a great job! The dog can now keep attention and stay in a command until I give the command Break. Walking on a leash….well don’t need a leash anymore. In the “heel” command he stays by my side without a leash. On his graduation day we were at the park. Another pet owner came walking by and Bulleit was solid, not paying attention to the other dog and stayed in command. Definitely recommend marquis to train your dog if you’re doing the board and train. Different dog all around and much better in commands, walking and dealing with distractions. It’s truly rewarding to know that he’s now able to stay focused, follow commands, and walk by your side without a leash! 🙌 The fact that he could remain in command even with distractions at the park speaks volumes about his progress and the solid foundation Marquis helped build.
