We are so grateful we decided to complete training with Mike. He is a skilled educator/trainer and explained things in a way that we understood and could easily execute at home; after all, it is really the humans that need the training! It was amazing to see Lola’s improvement week to week as we employed the techniques he demonstrated. It’s evident that Mike cares deeply about improving your relationship with your dog and his sessions with us have done just that.

Mike at Offleash in Seymour/Freedom area did an amazing job with Dusty and we really like his personal approach. There are options for weekly lessons but after talking with Mike we felt the best decision for us/Dusty was the 2 week board and train and boy are we glad we chose that. We just got him back last night for the turnover. He has a constant “job” now and it’s listening for our commands. In just under a day we notice he isn’t restless or bored like he used to be. Because of Mike, now my husband and I also can approach Dusty with confidence and consistency. He’s way more confident and seeks our praise. Offleash uses e-collars but they aren’t shock collars and they aren’t used as punishment. Mike had us test it on our hands to feel what it does and it’s way less than I ever imagined, more just like a tap on the shoulder to get the dog’s attention. We are so excited for the potential new interactions we can share as a family with Dusty!

There are not enough words for the gratitude that we have for the training JET received. The biggest change was US - especially ME. I cannot say enough at how much more confidence we have because of the training - we know what to do when something arises from doorbells to visitors to squirrels. JET is still just a puppy (7 months) but he is ROCKIN it!!! SO often we just need to say the right command & he responds. Before we dropped him off for boarding training, he was running away & everything was a game - it was awful for us & we were ALL on edge!! Off Leash was going to be our 'last investment' to help him & us. We were not sure what to expect when we boarded JET & it was really hard but we had to invest in ALL of us. The 2nd photo speaks volumes... from being a bully to being a BUDDY to our Milo!! That alone was huge... they sleep & play together (instead of constant 'arguments')!! Makes my heart SO happy!! Truly, truly our hearts are overflowingly grateful for everything!! It was worth it beyond what I can say in a review! Thank you Mike for every stubborn moment!!!
