I can’t say enough good things about the training my seven-month-old yellow lab got. She is confident, well-mannered, and very eager to learn. Mike created an amazing learning environment for her and set the foundation for further training. When we go for our daily training time, she beats me to the door enjoying every moment of it. The things she is capable of, are continually amazing to me. Thank you again, Mike.

This past August 2023 we ended our 4 week training session with trainer Mike Stapel. Our Golden Retriever Bella was 5 months when we started with Mike. I was skeptical at first because Bella was just a good natured dog that I was worried we would damage that using an E-collar. I am so happy that we continued with the plan to train her with Mike. Mike showed us the proper way to use an E-collar and educated us on how to train her and used situations that Bella would encounter to keep her focused on us, trust us, and to get over fear. She is so obedient and loves to obey us. Having a dog that is ready to please their leader makes having her and taking her places so fun. I can trust her in our yard ( live in the country) without being on a leash, she can sit and pose for me for pictures, doesn’t jump up on people, and ect. Just so much fun having her! Thank you Mike and I would totally recommend this program to others! It will make being a dog owner enjoyable!

I can't recommend Off Leash K9 Training enough. My lab used to be nothing but a handful in and outside of the house. The difference that I have seen in just the 4 training sessions that I did with Mike has already made a world of difference. My lab used to pull me around on walks and want to go after every little thing but now he actually focuses on me and is not pulling me everywhere. In the house he used to sit and look out the window and bark at everything and anything that went past but now he just sits and grumbles and he starts to bark it is just one word and he goes back to grumbling. Mike made sure that me and my fiancé knew if we didn't practice and keep with what we were learning that the training was not going to work and my lab was not going to learn anything. If you are thinking of going to Off Leash K9 for the training of your dog, I suggest that you fill out the form on the website or give them a call. Mike is a great trainer who knows what he is doing and will help give you the confidence to be able to take your dog for walks again.

I cannot recommend Off Leash K9 Training enough!! I have been trying to get my 6-year-old Silver Lab, Onyx, into training for over a year, but everyone was overbooked or just ignored calls and emails. I filled out the "contact me" form on the Off Leash K9 Training website and the next day Mike called me. Right then and there I was already impressed. With that phone conversation I told Mike what Onyx was doing and he explained why Onyx was doing those things and how they could be corrected. Mike also made it clear that if my fiancé and I weren't going to apply the techniques and skills learned from the training sessions, then Onyx wouldn't learn anything and go back to old habits. After going to training every Tuesday for a month, you quickly learn that the majority of the training is pointed towards the human rather than the dog. Onyx was a pro and picked up on the training within 15 min of the hour session. Before Off Leash K9 Training: Onyx was uncontrollable on walks. Barking, lunging, and pulling us around like we were rag dolls. He was also very reactive towards German Shepards, Huskies, and people. So sitting in the house with the blinds open or going on car rides wasn't an option. After Off Leash K9 Training: Onyx is now able to go on longer walks WITHOUT being reactive towards anything and walking by our side with a loose leash. Its incredible! Now instead of barking and being a lunatic whenever someone walks by the house he does the smallest grumbles. If you are contemplating getting your dog trained with Off Leash K9 Training, don't waste anymore time and give them a call or fill out the form on the website. Mike knows what he is doing and the confidence you regain once your dog can go on a simple walk is priceless.
