Off Leash K9 Training, Jersey Shore

So pleased with Off Leash K9 Training! My dog is almost 6, and had some reactivity/aggression issues she developed a bit later and anxiety. We did board and train for 2 weeks. Jennifer was great! Gave daily updates and saw improvement even through videos. Now being home for a few days, my dog definitely tried to test us lol (our boundaries before training weren’t really there), but the commands and her understanding are clearly engrained. She seems much more relaxed and more confident, more her sweet self! Walks are enjoyable again! So so glad I found them, and couldn’t recommend a better person/place you can trust to help train your pup! We really thought she might be too old to be trained out of it, but it’s not true! If and when I get another, I will gladly be going back to them. Very worth it!

Our golden retriever turned 1 back in November, and let me tell you he is not like any of our past Golden’s. He is hyper and has very little patience with training. And we tried everything! My husband and I put in so much time and money that first year with training and nothing seemed to work! We have two very young kids (3&1) with a 3rd baby due in a few weeks so we needed to do something to calm him down before our household became even more chaotic. We did some research and found Off Leash Training. At this point we were extremely hesitant to spend any more $ for training to not work but we crossed our fingers and booked doc for a two week board and train with Jay and Jennifer… let me tell you it is SO WORTH IT!! They were extremely helpful from day one explaining any questions we had about the process before, during and after. We are so happy we did this as doc came home the same loving family dog we sent to them but with skills we can now use and apply in our daily family life to better both his life and ours! If anything, we are just sad we didn’t do this sooner!!! Even after a few days home we’ve noticed such a change in him, he is happier just being able to be around the kids and not behind a gate as previously he used to nip at them (playfully) and take there toys. He now stays in his “place” while they play or eat and it’s made for such a better life for him! Highly highly recommend Jay and Jennifer and off leash training! You won’t regret it!!!! He also walks off leash with us which is just AMAZING!! I honestly couldn’t believe it but it’s true - best time and $ we’ve spent!

Our 4 year old aussiedoodle Finley has always been an anxious dog, barking at virtually anything new or different in our house, and barking nonstop at guests for the entirety of their visit. We had tried everything over the years to minimize the barking without success, including an in-home trainer, a bark collar, and even anxiety medication. When we had our first child and Finley's general anxiousness turned into lunging and barking at our baby, we knew we needed some serious help. Jennifer was nice enough to have several phone calls with us prior to booking the board and train to explain how her training works, and to answer all our questions. We booked the board and train hopeful, but truthfully not optimistic that Finley would be able to change. After two weeks with Jennifer (during which we received daily updates/videos to show what Finley was working on) I can honestly say the dog we got back is a drastically better version of the dog we sent. Our dog no longer barks nonstop, and listens to the "place" command. What use to be a stressful experience of having guests over has become much more enjoyable as Finley also mastered the "door manners" promised, and remains in place while we greet our guests. Most importantly, she stopped barking and lunging at our new baby and has demonstrated she can be trusted in our home. I could not be more pleased with the results of this training and am eternally grateful to Jennifer for helping us keep our family together. While we know there is work ahead for us to reinforce the training Finley was taught, we are so grateful for the foundation Jennifer established for us with Finley. If you are worried the training will not work so was I, and it does!!
