Off Leash K9 Training Lansing

Our 5 month old golden retriever puppy, Max just finished his 2 week board and train program with Shannon and it was an amazing experience. Shannon is so knowledgeable and great with both training him and communicating with us. We got daily messages and photo/video updates to keep up with his progress. You can tell she loves what she does and she’s amazing at it. He listens so well now and we are very happy with the results. She also offered to board our pup when we had to make an unexpected trip out of town right after his training finished. It was great peace of mind for us knowing that he would be in her very capable hands and that his training would stay consistent. He ran and jumped right into her vehicle when he saw her again. She is a true gem!

My dog, Marley, just finished her 2 week boarding program with Ashlind and I could not be happier with her progress! I got daily updates, videos, and pictures from Ashlind and she was always just a text away. She made sure I knew I could always contact her after the program and gave very thorough instructions for continuing Marley’s training. I couldn’t even walk her on a leash before the program and barely took her anywhere because of this. Now Marley heels, can go out in public, and follows my commands! Shannon was the trainer for my 2 year old German shepherd. He pulled, whined, and was so hard to walk with other dogs going around and distractions. Due to COVID I couldn't socialize him as I would have liked. After the 2 week boarding training program Shannon has given me tools to really communicate more effectively with my dog. You can see a huge difference in him from day one to when he and I would walk out in public. Shannon answered all questions and gave demonstration videos for every command that was easy to follow. She's been amazing to work with and highly recommend her not to mention she's patient! My dog is a big baby! And I knew he was in good hands with the knowledge Shannon shared when I dropped my dog off to her. Will definitely be bring my future pups to get trained here!!

My 10 month old puppy Bella just completed the two week board and train program. Her trainer’s name was Ashlind and she is AMAZING!! She treated Bella as her own and during the two weeks that I was away from Bella, Ashlind sent daily updates with pictures of Bella in addition to answering any and all questions I had. I’ve seen great improvement in Bella’s obedience, she doesn’t pull on the leash, but she also isn’t like a robot dog! She is still Bella! I definitely recommend this program and Ashlind!

Our one and half year old golden retriever, Cooper, recently completed 2 weeks of off leash training with Shannon. My wife and I are so impressed with the results. Cooper is an energetic, fun-loving, easily excitable young golden whose energy is hard to contain sometimes, especially on walks. After spending time with Shannon, Cooper is now a great walker who will heel for as long as he asked to do so. He has developed the self control to hold other commands like sit, down, and place despite ongoing distractions around him. Shannon was fantastic throughout the training process. Since Cooper was partaking in the boarding program, it was tough being away from him for so long. Shannon sent us pictures and videos daily, along with training for us as Cooper progressed. We could see how much Cooper loved working with Shannon, and truly felt that he was in excellent hands during his time with her.
