Off Leash K9 Training Lansing

We took our 7 year old Staffordshire Terrier Smokey to Mike for the one week board and train program while on vacation. We received daily video updates on what they were working on and the progress Smokey was making! Before training he didn’t listen to much, he kind of ran the household, was very jumpy and also reactive to other dogs and sometimes people. After training we see great progress! The difference is noticeable upon pick up and Mike gives you everything you could possibly to maintain and further the training at home.

A couple of months after we adopted our 1.5 year old Cattle Dog it was clear that we needed help. He was uncontrollable off-leash in the yard and even on-leash chasing squirrels, bikes, cars, people and other dogs. On walks he was unfocused. After walks, he still seemed stressed and unsettled. We signed up for Mike’s 2 week Board and Train at Off Leash K9 of Lansing and it has completely changed our relationship with our pup. He is more comfortable, calm, relaxed, more confident, and more himself. The first day home from training we took him for 3 walks because we couldn’t imagine the difference. Walks are actually enjoyable now for all of us. We can even spend time off-leash in the backyard. Our pup seems so much more well-adjusted and less stressed now that we understand each other. We are so thankful for Mike and his training. During the 2 weeks he gave us great, clear communication with daily videos - so we knew how our pup was doing with helpful commentary. Mike answered all our questions and took great care of our pup. When we picked up our pup, Mike spent plenty of time with us to make sure that we understood the collar, commands, and expectations. This time and care really put us on the road to success as our pup transitioned back to life at home. We feel this experience gave us the skills to communicate with our pup which has completely changed our day-to-day lives and relationship with him.
