Off Leash K9 Training, LLC

We adopted Rosie in April 2022 as a rescue at about 9-10 mo old and she is super sweet but was absolutely terrible on a leash, nipped at us, lunged at anything and everything on walks, super high prey drive, tons of barking... You name it. We have two young kids so were somewhat worried for their safety overall as well. We couldn't leave Rosie alone in a room with them. We found OLK9 after trying hopelessly to do weekly training in our home - the scheduling was just a nightmare. We drove 3 hours for the next available OLK9 trainer and it overlapped with a trip we were planning anyway. Rosie did the 2 week board and train with Kerry in NH and she has returned a new dog. I must admit, I was skeptical... But Rosie is such a good listener now, a dream to walk on a leash, and most of the time she is even off leash! I never could have imagined we could have her off leash. We don't have a fenced in yard so this is a real game changer. We go to a local dog park that is not enclosed and it's huge - I have total confidence that Rosie will come when called, as she always does. We are so thankful to Kerry and OLK9 for giving us this new freedom!

We sent our stubborn but smart, 5-month Bernedoodle to Andrea for the 2 week board and train and are very happy with the results. We know Mo is going to be a big boy, so it was important for us to get ahead on training. After the 2 weeks, he came back calmer, more responsive, less nippy, and a breeze to walk. It finally felt like he was willing to work with us instead of just working for a treat. We were very appreciative of Andrea’s daily updates and felt confident from day one that she would be able to reign in his puppy tendencies. We definitely have the foundation to continue to train him so that everyone is happier at home.
