I cannot recommend Off Leash K9 Training enough. Jessica Dillon did an outstanding job with my dog during the 2 week board and train. She understood my concerns before the training and she was able to provide corrections on behaviors that were fit for my dog. Not only did Jessica do a great job with my dog, but she went above and beyond for my dogs birthday when she was in training. She did personalized videos of my girls progress and a cute video for her birthday. Jessica treated my dog like her own and I am forever thankful for the progress that was made in her board and train.

We sent our mixed-breed dog, Captain, to Michelle at K9 Off Leash in Sterling for a two-week training program, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He came back a completely transformed pup — still the same sweet personality, but now with focus, manners, and confidence. Captain now knows how to sit, place, heel, and stay inside when the door opens — a huge improvement from before. One of the biggest surprises was how much he genuinely enjoyed training. He gets excited just seeing us pull out the e-collar because he associates it with fun, off-leash adventures and learning. During his time with Michelle, he got to run free on park trails and absolutely loved it. Before training, walks could be a challenge, especially when other dogs were around. Now, he walks calmly at my left side and no longer pulls — it’s like walking a different dog. The structure and consistency Michelle gave him made a world of difference. The investment was 100% worth it. We’re so grateful to Michelle for her expertise, care, and the incredible work she did with Captain. Highly recommend to any dog owner looking for lasting results!

I have a two year old doodle mix (Bear) who was in dire need of behavioral training for leash pulling, jumping on counters, and aggressiveness towards other dogs. I found very positive reviews for Off Leash K9 Training and I booked 8 weeks of 1 hour training at their facilities in Sterling, VA. Mandy was Bear's (and my) trainer for the majority of the sessions. Erin was Bear's trainer for two sessions and she also did an excellent job. Bear was trained very quickly how to stay in place and recall. Throughout the remaining training sessions, he was taught how to walk next to me without pulling and walk past other dogs without being aggressive. This 8 week session greatly improved my dog's behavior and provided enough knowledge for me to continue to train my dog while at home. In addition, was offered a 1 week boarding training (normally 2 weeks) to work on some off leash training and brush up on the other commands he learned during his 8 weeks of training sessions. This was the best decision I could have made because Mandy worked with Bear so much better than I could have on my own. The 1 week of boarding/training with Mandy produced amazing results. I could not believe what I saw in the videos of Bear off leash in public! My family's response to the videos were "Wow! I can't believe that's our little boy is behaving so well off leash in public!" I took Bear to downtown Leesburg that weekend and he was such a good boy. He no longer pulled on my leash and didn't act aggressively towards another dog he met on his walk. My whole family strongly recommends Off Leash K9 Training!
