Off Leash K9 Training Milwaukee/ Madison

I used Off Leash K9 to help me with my dog a Vizsla Weimaraner Mix Willow. I have had her for a little over 2 years now but immediately after bringing her home, it was apparent she had severe behavioral problems. Willow has a history of separation anxiety in addition to reactivity with other dogs. I have spent thousands on her in the last 2 years between trainers, vet visits and medications. We had gained lots of success with medications but it was apparent that she would likely be my only dog in my home for the duration of her life. I came to terms with that reality until I met my now partner who has 2 of his own dogs. As you may have guessed it, the introduction of his dogs and my Willow did not go as smoothly as I would have liked. Which brought me to reaching out to the folks at Off Leash. Willow successfully completed her 2 week board and train a little over 2 months ago. I have nothing but good things to say about every single person I worked with at Off Leash K9. Nicky did Willows board and train, however I had conversations with Laurie and I dropped Willow off at Jacob’s. I’m amazed how close they all work together for the good of these animals. They truly take a team approach to things. Everyone I’ve worked with at this company is amazing, understanding and knowledgeable. Their ability to understand the dog’s brain and their behaviors is mind blowing to me. I can say without a doubt they are experts in their field. We’ve continued with Willows training at home with her and our other dogs and she has done so well. I truly believe Willows success is solely due to the dedication to Nicky. Yes, others most definitely helped, like I said they are a team, but Nicky truly cares for these animals and wants them to be successful. I’m incredibly grateful for her expertise. To be truthful, I was at a point of re-homing Willow or worst yet, putting her down. I am hopeful with continued at home training and the support of Nicky, Willow will stay at home with me the rest of her life. If you were on the fence of spending the money to do the training, do it. It was worth every single cent to be able to keep her. My dog is so much more confident and she actually listens for the first time in her life! lol Thank you to Off Leash K9 and especially thank you to Nicky. Laurie was so very informative from the beginning; she’s almost intimidating, but you’ll soon realize that she’s the nicest , caring person/trainer you could have. Our dog came from a very cruel background as a puppy. Laurie took him and worked with Stevie. He is so well trained it’s amazing. Granted there is much training to be done by these dog parents; but we were given & taught so much that bringing Stevie home wasn’t as scary as we thought. Laurie gave us that confidence! Now we just hope we can be the best dog parents as she said we could be!! Thank you K9 Off Leash & Laurie🐾🐾

Off leash K9 training was top notch from start to finish. Our dogs trainer, Brittany was awesome and could not recommend her enough! Personally we were a bit uneasy about a 2 WEEK board and train but her and her husband gave us the peace of mind we needed. The daily report cards really showed our dogs progression and if we had any questions Brittany was always on top of it with a timely response. We ended up really trusting her and most importantly so did our dog. In all we saw serious results with our pooch, he made serious progress in not much time. We would 100% recommend Brittany to anyone!

We had a great experience with Jacob from Off Leash MKE. Our dog Rosie spent two weeks with him at board and train while we were traveling. The process to register was well supported and communication was great- each day we’d receive a report card with tips, videos, and pictures tailored to what Rosie was working on. The two week at home guide will be a great resource for us to bring her home and practice together. Jacob was very kind and willing to answer all our questions during training as well as after! We look forward to joining ‘meet ups’ with other Off Leash trainers and clients in the future.

We are thrilled with the progress Laurie has made with Thor, so much so that we decided to add 2 more weeks given his slower start, that's how much we believe in this training. It was a slow start with a muzzle, but Laurie never gave up! We adopted this 7-year-old French Bulldog from Texas and he either loves you or hates you hard and Laurie is working diligently to change that. The daily emails with detailed information about their day along with photos and videos really allows us to see into their training and immediately gain trust. We highly recommend Laurie & K9 training.
