Off Leash K9 Training of Maine

My 9 month old shy Bernese mountain dog (Maggie) went to the 14 day board and train program with Haley. We needed some help with building confidence and basic training. Haley sent us daily videos & photos of Maggie’s progress throughout the entire 2 weeks. She was always there to answer any questions. When we went to meet Haley to pick up our dog she went above and beyond to make sure we fully understood everything. We couldn’t believe how well behaved our BMD was. Haley definitely did an amazing job building the frame work of basic fundamentals for us to continue to build. I would recommend This program and we LOVED our trainer Haley she truly cares about your furbaby!

My sweet boy Finley was a loving yet CRAZY golden retriever, ten months old. The main issues were: jumping/overexcited greetings, not knowing the command for laying down, and then not staying when told to sit. Also, he would play and get rough and couldn't calm down. I work from home and the biggest issue was he would come up to my desk and jump and there was nothing I could do to stop his behavior and direct him away and calm him down. NOW....Marcy is a godsend. She was patient and kind and it literally felt like magic. We did the basic obedience package. In four sessions, Finley is a DIFFERENT DOG. I am not exaggerating. Even after one session, my family and friends were impressed. Fast forward to now, I can leave him in a SIT or PLACE or DOWN and walk dozens of feet away and he won't break until commanded to. So happy we sent our big, lovable Bernese to Austin! From my first interaction, communications were professional and timely. Austin took the time to understand our issues with Bentley and sent updates and videos every day. He came home with the same goofy personality but we feel so much better equipped to handle him as he is super obedient to the commands he has learned. Austin spent two hours reviewing everything with us and ensuring we were comfortable with commands and all our questions were answered. Our dog was well taken care of and it’s clear he enjoyed his time there in addition to benefiting immensely from the training. I wouldn’t hesitate to take another dog here in the future.

I was hesitant at first about sending my golden doodle away for training however, I cannot say how happy I am with the training he received from Marcy. She put my mind at ease with regular update videos showing his progress. My dog showed a happy response to her and I saw her affection for him. She was professional and caring as well as an excellent trainer. Marcy made sure I was kept in the loop on a regular basis. Then at the end of his 2 week training she met with me to go over everything in detail before spending well over an hour making certain I was comfortable and knowledgeable with working with him on my own. I have no doubt that I will reach out to her for a refresher in the future to reassure myself that all is well. I can confidently say that I would recommend Marcy and her training sessions.
