Off Leash K9 Training of North Alabama

We were lucky enough to have Kayla as Tucker’s trainer. She was patient, showed empathy and was great with him. I couldn’t be happier with the training and his progress. Dropping him off he was easily distracted and very rambunctious.. My granddaughters were here last night he wasn’t jumping on them like he usually would. This morning we did the commands and went for a walk. Tucker did a grest job. Anyone that is looking for a 2 week training. I highly recommend Offleash K9 dog training in Somerville. Thank you Kayla

We cannot thank Off Leash Training of North Alabama for giving us a new, improved, trained, balanced and obedient Taz! We love our dog so much, but were at a loss of what to do for safety and care. She had turned into a snarling, snapping, angry pet intermittently with no apparent reason. We had tried medication and behavior modification without benefit. I was in tears asking our vet what more we could do knowing a euthanasia conversation would also be discussed. His words of her being a good dog, somewhere in that snapping mess gave us hope to reach out to someone who was experienced, caring, professional, honest and someone who would understand. We hit the lottery finding Lindsey. Taz is a new dog coming home from working with Mrs. Lindsey and Mr. Blake! From our first conversation, everything we wanted for Taz was communicated. We could not be happier with the program, facility, training, Lindsey, the care, compassion, equipment, follow-up and giving our Taz another chance to live her best, safe, focused, trained life! My dog Roscoe had Kayla as a trainer. She was absolutely WONDERFUL with him. I was totally comfortable with her having him for the 2 weeks of training. She was very open and very personable. She did a great job. The knowledge that me and Roscoe came out of the training with is priceless. It’s so nice having a peaceful household and a relationship with my dog where we respect each other. Life is completely different for the better and I owe everything to our trainer Kayla and to the company Off Leash K-9 training. Thank you guys 🙏🏻

Nori, our 9-month-old beagle, just spent two weeks with her new bestie, Nick Sutton, from Off Leash K9 Training of North Alabama! Nick was amazing. Even before Nori left for “puppy boot camp”, Nick spent over an hour on the phone with us going through his training process. It was clear that he really understood what Nori needed, but also respected and alleviated our concerns. Nick’s dog training experience and acumen put us completely at ease and we felt very comfortable sending our sweet puppy off for two weeks with him. By day two of camp, Nick began sending photos and videos every few days and we could immediately see how Nori was progressing. She looked very happy and very eager to learn! Some of Nick’s videos included informal “how to” training which will be helpful as we continue with her training at home. We were very nervous having never done this type of training before, but our neighbors used the program in San Francisco and highly recommended it. So grateful to owner Lindsey as well, who took the time to ask questions about Nori and explained how the training could help her. At the end of her two-week boot camp, Nick spent over two hours with my husband and I, demonstrating Nori’s training components before turning over the leash to us to coach us on the commands. Nick was so patient with Nori—very caring—and she absolutely adored him! He introduced Nori to his own dogs—of which Nori fell in love with their big dog Gator. Nori is the same sweet girl after her training adventure, but even after just a few days of her being home, we can tell that she is still thinking about her training and wants to please us! She is a very smart, spunky little pup, and learning is her favorite thing, so the two-week boot camp was perfect for her personality.
