Where do the dogs stay in the board & train program?
Every trainer has a designated kennel room set up in their home or on their property that is heated and cooled. Each kennel room is equipped with crates that are safe from even the most persistent escape artist.
Cleanliness is of upmost importance to us and every trainer is scheduled accordingly in order to make sure that when a dog leaves, the room and kennels are ready for their next client.

While participating in our 2 Week Board & Train Program, a trainer is authorized up to three clients dogs at a time. This is at the discretion of the trainer. Each dog is worked to their max capacity in time per session. (This could be 30 minutes up to 3 hours at a time for one session) How many sessions are worked in a day is determined on the mental and physical energy that dog can work in a day.
This means that a dog can spend anywhere between 3 to 6 hours a day working and the rest snoozing in there kennel.

For all puppies that are under 6 months of age we do not offer potty training. The reason for this is it takes a very strict schedule in the puppies day to get on a normal cycle of eating/drinking, play time, training time, and crate time. There are a lot factors that go into successfully potty training a dog such as maturity, genetics, breed, size, age, and medical.
However, we do offer additional support when a semi potty trained pup participates in our Board & Train Program.

We guarantee our training as long as the program is followed by the owners as the trainer has set for their dogs needs.
Classes require for the client to work with their dog every day for 45 minutes on the assignment that was given by the trainer. The success of classes is 100.00% determined by how much the client works with their dog.
For the 2 Week Board & Train to be successful, the client must maintain their dog in the manner which the trainer set fourth on turn over day.

Are your classes set up in groups or they individual?
All our class programs are one on one with a trainer. We value giving our clients our undivided attention when working with their pet. This is very important as the trainer will discuss behaviors they see with the owner, and teach the owner how to handle those behaviors. This essentially creates a better bond between the owners and their pet through obedience.

My husband was ready to evict our newly rescued 1-year old Cane Corso after only a couple of months. Doofy is so sweet and smart but her separation anxiety, destructiveness and terrorizing of the cats were getting to be too much. She is a pretty fast learner and would have gotten there eventually but I was afraid she was running out of grace with him. He found Off Leash K9 and had me call.
Just a few minutes into the conversation with Lindsey, she knew everything I was going to say about Doofy and her behaviors - good and bad! I knew Lindsey and OLK9 would be able to get Doofy to where she needed to be training-wise much faster and easier than I ever would and I was right.
Trainer Nick is amazingly patient with both dogs and people and kept us up to date with pics and videos nearly every day. On pick up day, he sat with us for over an hour answering all of our questions, laughing at my husband's terrible jokes, and training us on how to continue training Doofy. I have no doubt they will pick right up and help us if we notice things starting to slip which is invaluable.
Since she's been home, she is calmer, a better listener and is even better at restraining herself when the cats venture out. And the leash walking! I cannot believe the transformation and how easy it is to walk her now!
I have such high hopes for a peaceful household and it's all thanks to Nick, Lindsey and the OLK9 services. I would recommend them 1,000,000 times and without hesitation to anyone considering giving up their pups due to behavior issues.

Dropped off a very loving, yet undisciplined dog...
2 weeks later... picked up an extremely obedient, well behaved dog who had not lost an ounce of his loveiness (if that's an actual word)

Our trainers, Blake & Lindsey, performed a remarkable transformation in our 16 month old Bloodhound. She was a rescue dog with numerous negative behaviors ranging from resource guarding, anxious behaviors, jumping on people, and extreme difficulty on leash. At the end of the 2 week board & train, we now have an obedient, calm and responsive member of the family. We have solid commands that we easily learned and that our dog responds to that has made all of our lives together enjoyable. I no longer fear walking her or taking her in public. They successfully trained her and us. If you have a dog that you feel is problematic for you, stop reading this and call them. They will solve your issues. Our only regret is that we waited. Also, their post training responses have been prompt and effective
