I’ve known Crystal for years and when it came time to get our pup trained, there was no question that we’d be reaching out to her and the team at Off Leash. We couldn’t be happier with our two week board and train with Lyndsey. Our mixed breed pup, Charlee, had some confidence issues (read: anxious Annie), reactivity to some dogs and constantly pulled to chase the neighborhood bunnies. After speaking to Crystal and Lyndsey, we went into the training with reasonable expectations of the process - we knew Charlee would always be a worrier but we were confident that the training would help with her confidence and improve her behavior, especially on walks. Happy to report that she walked off leash around the neighborhood tonight and was very responsive to commands and corrections. We are really excited to continue to work with Charlee now that she’s home. The work is just beginning! Lyndsey was so great! She communicated with us throughout the two weeks and sent pictures and videos - my favorite way of staying connected! We highly recommend the two week board and train!

Crystal and her team were awesome. I was only doing the 1-week board and train but our trainer was so warm and great with my pup as soon as we arrived that I decided to opt for the 2-week training package. And Crystal accommodated this change. I loved the daily reports and pictures. I could see the transformation of my pup with every update. And it was clear that her well being was always the #1 priority. I now can take my pup everywhere that I go and feel confident that she will listen and be safe. Highly recommend.

Off Leash K9 Training has been a life changing experience for us. We purchased the basic and advanced obedience package (8 private lessons) for each of our dogs. The lessons occurred throughout August and September, so this review might be a little overdue, but I've had time to reflect on the experience. First off, we got our two boys as puppies and wanted to be able to take them everywhere we go. At the time of the training, one was almost 2 and the other a little over a year old. Both could be obnoxious at times, barking at other dogs that walked by; trying to take off after every squirrel, bird, deer, etc. that they saw; going nuts when the doorbell rang; and a drive thru window was a complete nightmare. Doing anything with them was becoming more and more stressful. We decided we had to try something and contacted Crystal, the owner, who listened to our concerns and goals, patiently answered all of our questions, and made recommendations based upon the info provided. Our private lessons with Lyndsey, our trainer, soon began. She was definitely "our trainer" as teaching us was a huge component of the process. Not only did she teach us what do to, she took the time to explain why. That made all the difference as it prompted us to start thinking through situations, made us better problem solvers, and even made us better at preventing problems and setting the dogs up for success. One of our dogs, Cash, has had a huge turn around. Turns out, he is very routine-oriented and likes structure and knowing what he is supposed to do. Now that we have figured that out, he is so much more confident, way less anxious, and seems to enjoy outings and activities. Carter, the younger of the two, has a completely different personality. He has always been very easygoing and affectionate but also very curious, easily distracted, and not afraid of much. His safety was a concern for us because he wouldn't follow directions and would venture off after a bird, squirrel, etc. I was constantly being pulled when we were walking or startled by his barking at different things he saw. His leash manners have improved significantly and we can walk pretty much anywhere, go into stores, dine out at a restaurant with an outdoor patio, etc. Just last week, they were both able to walk with us on the beach off leash. Again, the experience has been life changing for us. We feel confident taking them places, having friends over, etc. They are always complimented when we are out about how well behaved they are. We do continue to work with them on a regular basis. That's a point that Lyndsey was sure to make. We are grateful to her for teaching us how to teach our dogs.

We searched for a program that we thought would help our one year old goldendoodle with behavioral issues and improve the quality of her life. We needed help in controlling her jumping on people, pulling on leash and mastering basic commands. We decided that the two week board and train program might benefit her. Within 2 days her trainer, Emily, was working with Daisy off leash. We could not believe what we were seeing in the pictures Emily sent with her daily updates. We looked forward to our daily updates, hearing what adventure Daisy went on and seeing amazing photos of the transformation she was going through. Our crazy Daisy is now much calmer and following commands! We are now able to take Daisy on walks and take her places that were out of the question before due to her behavioral issues. Daisy has been home less than a week and is responding well to commands. She walks well on leash and we have had her off leash in a park and Home Depot without any issues. We could not be more pleased with the results we have seen from Emily's training! We continue to update Emily with Daisy's progress and she replies promptly to any questions or concerns that we have. Our only regret is that we didn't use the two week board and training program sooner.
