Off Leash K9 Training Rochester/Syracuse

We picked up Stanley yesterday from the board and train. We were astounded at how much he learned in the week he was there. Alex his trainer was great. He treated Stan with respect and caring. He made sure we had daily videos and progress notes. Alex made sure we were comfortable with what we need to do at home before we left. Stanley is doing really good at home. There is such a difference in his behavior. We couldn’t be happier. Thanks Alex

We enrolled our 5 month old German Shepherd in the 2 week board & train and it was the best investment for our boy! He was with Justine who was absolutely INCREDIBLE with him- she kept us updated each day with pictures, videos, and texts telling us how he was doing. Within a day he was already showing progress. You could tell that he was being loved while being away from home as well as having fun with her and the other dogs, which we were so happy to see. We could not recommend Off Leash and Justine enough, we now have a well behaved and well trained puppy that is continuing to work on his skills at home with us!

My fiancé and I were going to use them for services but would have had to wait 2 weeks before a drop off, so we chooses to go another route. Upon requesting a refund they were very responsive and stated a refund was placed. For background we paid via echeck not credit card. It has been 5 business days for a process that takes 1-3 business days. When I reached out I got “it’s fine on our end must be your end”. This isn’t possible since they received the funds from us without issue. Please be cautious when purchasing as we haven’t gotten our money back ($1958) and had to start fraud charges with our bank.

Update: I have been trying to reach this business for months. By phone, email, even by contacting the BBB. Responding to my google review is evidently the only way they get back to me unfortunately however, offleash k9- your facts are 100% incorrect. Clover had been with me for a few weeks and had had not a single accident, but during her time with your trainer, she had one. And once she was home, it was nearly nonstop but only after your “training”. The trainer never mentioned focusing on this in her many texts, all of which I still have. To address her nature- clover was never fearful before I brought her to your “trainer”. She was not nervous either. She was excited, sweet, smart, and willing to do anything to learn. Unfortunately, your trainer or methods seemed to have scared her into not feeling safe and not wanting to learn. This was also not communicated to me. What was communicated to me was very short videos and a few texts on how she was doing “amazingly well” learning her commands. I never once saw this. The day we picked her up at your facility, she could not do most of the commands she had supposedly been doing so well with. She half way did one after an hour and a half, and the trainer kicked us out to take on another dog, all the while, my dog, had learned nothing. I reached out many many times before two months, because when I had to charge the collar, because that can’t be done while on her, getting it back on her was a nightmare. And when I did eventually wrestle it back on her, she was terrified, as if someone had shocked her so badly during her time with your “trainer” that she was afraid of being abused. Trying to have me drive four hours one way for a “refresher session” when she learned nothing after an entire two weeks, is not what the contract or your site offered. The contract I signed, says you guarantee results after the two weeks (immediately) or my money back. And seeing as you’ve only chosen to respond several months later, did you honestly believe I would just leave my dog completely untrained as your “trainer” did? I am more responsible than that. My suggestion, is that you reach out, and honor your contract, and send a full refund. Your “trainer” and methods did absolutely nothing, even from pick up day. Did a two week board and train with my dog to get her ready for service work training. It was an absolute nightmare. Not only will my dog not do a single command (not even since pickup) she is now no longer house or crate trained, and when I’ve tried to reach out several times, I’ve been ignored or told they will get back to me only to never hear back. They “guarantee” results, but when the results aren’t there, they won’t help.
