This is a very popular program and is usually booked for a few months in advance, so please contact us before paying online or trying to schedule an appointment for this. This is where you drop off your dog, and 2-weeks later you pick up a dog that is flawless outside, off-leash, with distractions! See our youtube channel for numerous board and train before/after videos! This 2-week program is a program which focuses on practical, everyday obedience that is completed with a high level of precision, outside, off-leash, with distractions! This program provides a little bit of everything, including manners and socialization (dogs and people). All behaviors are taught with high-level distraction proofing. This program offers the following: Sit and Extended Sit, Down and Extended Down Loose Leash and Off-Leash Walking Come on command. Greeting Manners, Waiting politely at doors and gates. I started in late March bringing my German Shepherd Doberman puppy, Buddy, to see Alex! I took Buddy because he was a reactive dog to everything, with a big loud bark, everyone was scared to go near him. I was very hesitant about Buddy using the E Collar as well as the prong collar to try and correct this behavior. Alex reassured that those collars are designed to help dogs if using them the right way. First when putting the prong collar on Buddy I was very nervous but the constant corrections and time spent doing it was very helpful to the point Buddy doesn’t need it anymore. Overall this experience was hands down the best place to learn the right way of training a dog! If you think training won’t be beneficial, think again!

Binx our dog did really well in 5 lessons. He is a rescue and after these 5 lessons he is a different dog. He worked hard at every lesson and we did our homework. If you do the homework each week you will have a different dog in the end. We can’t thank Kassie enough for her work and professionalism. I would highly recommend Off Leash Training !

One thing we really appreciate is that Alex sends us videos every day showing Rhea’s progress. It’s reassuring to see how she’s learning and growing, and it’s obvious how much time and effort he puts into each training session.
Beyond being an excellent trainer, Alex has built a great relationship with Rhea—she absolutely loves him, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. His knowledge, patience, and professionalism have made this a fantastic experience from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a trainer who truly knows what he’s doing and keeps you involved every step of the way, I highly recommend Alex and the team at Off Leash K9 Training. They exceeded our expectations!

Our 1-year-old Cocker Spaniel Danny just finished the 9-Week Training Course through Off-Leash in Fairport. My wife and I were very impressed with the job that Rebecca did with him. He started out a very nervous puppy, who wouldn't sit still for grooming, and he was highly hyperactive around people and dogs while on walks.
Over the course of the training, Rebecca did a very good job relating to him, and after a while, Danny really looked forward to "going to school" each week. The transformation during his training was obvious. We know it will be up to us to continue his "education" by working with him on the things he learned, but we feel he is off to a great start... We highly recommend this company and special kudos to Becca.
