Off Leash K9 Training Twin Cities

You were ultimately told that my mother was in a horrible accident and was going to be in the hospital for 3 to 4 months. I needed to rehome the puppies. Nice way to shorten that information into “you tried to reschedule and I gave the puppies away.” very professional. My mom was in an accident and her puppies had to be re-homed. Off leash WOULD NOT EVEN CONSIDER refunding the training deposit!!! Great business model is to keep money for services never provided. Very sad. Puppies could not attend training due to Giardia which is your rule and surgery (out of my mom’s control). Why keep the deposit? Why? Because you provided a service? What service did you provide? You can try to switch the blame to us, but in reality you are keeping money that your company did nothing to earn. Find some ethics training!

Don saved our dog! Our 1.5 year old golden retriever was extremely reactive and aggressive towards other dogs. She eventually started showing signs of aggression to our 9 month old as well. It was to the point where we couldn't even walk her and she spent most of the time in the house in her kennel. We tried other trainings, which seemed to make the behavior worse. We also tried to rehome her and were unsuccessful. We were at the point where it seemed like our only option was to put her to sleep. We randomly found Off Leash K9 online and decided to call as a last resort. Don was extremely confident that he could help us, and within the first few weeks alone she became a different dog! She is now no longer nearly as reactive, she is very much more obedient, and she is gentle around our child (always supervised closely of course). We are forever grateful for all of the guidance Off Leash K9 and Don have given us!

Teddy and I have been training with Don through Off Leash K9 Training Twin Cities. With patience and consistency, Teddy has made significant strides since beginning our training. Teddy is more confident, attentive, and responsive. I, too, have learned many skills to be the best teammate and dog mom for Teddy. I developed my own confidence, understanding of behavior, and I have greater insight into Teddy’s needs and body language. All thanks to Don. A couple of things that set Don apart from other trainers incudes clear expectations set on Day 1 and establishing individualized goals that meet our training needs. There is consistent follow through to meeting goals and training in a way that makes skills stick! Highly recommend Don for optimal training done the right way!

Cannot say enough great things about Don and K9 Training! We had 4 sessions with Don when we first adopted our rescue at 2 years old and just completed a few more to fine tune things as she got older. This has all helped so much with not just our dog, but also my confidence as her owner! I have learned so much, and now she listens, recalls, and I actually want to walk her now vs. being pulled around the block! Her attention has completely turned around and she is happier and so am I! She loved Don, and ran to him every time we came to a lesson! The best money we've spent for our dog! Thank you so much for running such a great training facility and leading us to Don and his team!
