From the first day we saw small subtle changes in our 1 year old Pit. First she would go into the kennel without issue, then it was her listening to commands on the first try instead of the fifth. After week 3 walks became a BREEZE. No more pulling or barking at people/ other dogs. By week 5 she was able to stay in a sit without myself or my husband holding her leash or commanding her umpteen times to do so. After completing the training program for Chloe it’s truly a night and day difference. And we couldn’t be more grateful to Jesse and Miguel for their help! Please do keep in mind that if you don’t keep up with the training outside of the weekly meets, you may not achieve the full results you’d want but that’s on you at that point lol.

I highly recommend K9 Training Bakersfield! Jesse and Miguel were incredibly helpful—not only in working with my dog, but also in teaching and guiding me as a dog owner. He took the time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand and helped me learn how to communicate with my dog more effectively. The training has made such a positive difference, and I feel like I’ve gained so much more confidence and security in handling my dog. I now feel better equipped to understand my dog’s behavior, set boundaries, and work through situations with much more confidence. What I appreciated most is that the training wasn’t just about training my dog—it helped train me too. I’m extremely grateful for the patience, knowledge, and support throughout the process. Miguel did a great job with my Malinois Mac who previously like to bite people who got to close to his family. He’s much calmer and now also loves to run next to a bike in a great heal position. We can trust our dog around strangers and out in public.

This place is the best. My dog had the biggest issues with separation anxiety from my wife. He was very stressed whenever she left the house. Offleash took him off our hands for a few weeks, which was a little tough on us, but we knew it had to be done for his health and quality of life. Once we got him back, his behavior was drastically improved. He can now relax and enjoy life, knowing that mama is not leaving him and will always come back lol. Highly recommend! He no longer stresses.
