Our husky shepherd mix will turn 2 years old this summer and she is one of the best dogs we’ve ever loved. Our family credits Joy for the amazing work she did with her and for teaching my son how to keep up her training. She is an XL dog with an XL personality— because of her training, she is able to travel with us, enjoy her time at the dog park with other dogs, and spend time in town even in crowds of people. She loves her crate because she associates it with getting out and having fun! This training allows her to enjoy off leash time every day— she is a sight to behold, running on the beach— her recall is outstanding. The value Joy brought to our lives through the training she provided is immeasurable— training allows our girl to fully experience the full, fun, active life she deserves!

We have a husky mix and took had him do a two week board and train with Meghan it cost $3,200 and it was fantastic! She was super calm with our dog, she sent daily updates and just to clarify the e collar is not like your usual shock collar when picking up our dog Meghan had us feel the collar our self while it was on and she described it as basically a tens unit. It tenses a muscle but it’s. Physically hurting the dog. It was great however if you are wanting to have a trained dog and not keep up with it that may be a different story. We still everyday are having to use the commands and work with him because he still tries to get away with things but for the most part there is a noticeable difference. He settles more he isn’t crazy trying to escape he can go on walks and not chase the things passing by.

Wanted to give it a few weeks post training before leaving a review, but Joy at off leash K9 training is the best! Incredibly kind, patient and helpful with our husky, Sampson. He is a 1 year old rescue puppy with a big heart and terrible manners. 0 recall or obedience and regular training wasn’t working for us. 1 week with Joy and he is practically a new dog! Highly recommend the e-collar training programs for “challenging” dogs. It’s also supported our pup’s separation anxiety and overall happiness. He now listens to multiple commands, as well as walking around and returning to us perfectly off leash. My partner and I actively work with him each day to maintain consistency and results. We also loved the detailed photo and video updates that were provided daily while we were out of the country, which greatly eased our anxiety with being so far away. OffLeash K9 Training has the best pricing, dog to trainer ratio, and results of any program in the PNW.

I have a high-energy, 1-year-old Labrador who I genuinely thought was untrainable. I had tried everything—multiple methods, even another trainer—but nothing seemed to stick. Then we found Joy, and everything changed. She immediately understood my dog’s challenges and knew exactly how to address each one. To my absolute amazement, my pup was walking off-leash in just three weeks. I barely recognized her! Joy taught her come, heel, sit, stay, place, and stopped the destructive chewing—all while preserving her wonderful personality. My dog is now a joy to be around (pun intended!), and I love her even more than I thought possible. If you’re struggling with training, I cannot recommend Joy highly enough. She’s truly exceptional. 10/10 - worth every penny
