10/10 recommend Ohana K9! I’ve now taken two of my dogs here, and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. My dog Rocky just graduated with trainer Tobin, and I can’t speak highly enough of him. He was incredibly thorough in explaining why he was doing each exercise and how I could continue the training at home. You can truly tell that everyone at Ohana K9 is passionate about what they do and that they take amazing care of all the dogs there!

You need to run, don’t walk to Ohana K9 Academy. If you think that your dog is untrainable, let me tell you our story… We got Hank our male Chocolate lab in spring of 2020. Because in 2020, you learn how to make sourdough and you buy puppies because you have all the time in the world, right? Given that we were on a global shutdown, Hank never received the formal training that he deserved. He grew up to be a happy family dog, but had zero manners. He would knock over the kids, he would pull my arm out of the socket when I was taking him on a walk, he would rush out the door as if he was an Olympic sprinter. It got to the point where I actually didn’t like him as a pet, I loved him because he was great with the kids, but I didn’t actually like him. I knew we had to do something! We had heard from a friend of ours, whose dog went through the program to check it out. I was extremely skeptical. There was no way this five year-old with a puppy mentality could be trained. I didn’t believe. Instead we decided to put in the investment and the time in order to get a dog that we actually liked. Our standards and our bar were set very low. We just wanted him to be able to walk on a leash and not knock me on my butt when he was going outside. When I was told that I was set up with Louie the trainer I actually felt bad for Louie. I thought there’s no way that this guy is gonna be able to train this dog. He’s too old to be able to figure this out. I have never been more wrong in my life. This dog is a changed man. He is polite, he is self regulated. He is calm. All adjectives that I would’ve never used to describe him four weeks ago. We cannot thank Ohana and Louie enough for giving us Hank. Louie became a friend throughout the process, because from day one we knew we could trust him. The facility is extremely clean, they’re very communicative, they truly know what they’re doing If you are on the fence about training your dog, hop off and give Ohana a call!
