Ohana K9 Academy - Dog Training, Boarding & Dog Daycare

I had my dog Peach in the 6 week board and train program and I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this was for my dog. She went in as a reactive dog with a fear response and after 6 weeks of consistent training and socials with a highly skilled trainer, TJ, she was a brand new dog. This place has a faculty that loves dogs and you can tell takes pride in what they do. I will continue to recommend Ohana to anyone who I can. If you are looking for a place to trust with your pet, this is the place.

Update** Highly recommend! Just completed the E collar program with my second dog. Louie was her trainer again and the training went great.. again! Bo even checked in for a couple lessons since I have a sassy little GSP and they both gave me great tips to continue using at home! The patience and honesty with where your dog is at is what I appreciate the most. They’re very realistic as well and will be straight up with you while also doing what is best for the dog and meeting the dog where they are at. All the staff at Ohana is great and it’s easy to see their love that they have for all the dogs here. I took my 10 week old German Shorthaired Pointer (Tripp) here and had a great experience ! Louie was Tripp’s primary trainer and Bo helped out as well at times, along with other staff at Ohana! We did the puppy private lessons and then moved on to the E-collar lessons. Louie and the staff are very knowledgable about all breeds of dogs and are easy to work with. We did lessons at the facility and offsite to get him adapted to the real world as well. It’s obvious everyone there is passionate about what they do. They help you and your dog build confidence on a daily basis. Tripp is almost two now and they still check in regularly and are there to offer help and tips if needed! I recommend Ohana to anyone who has a new puppy or a dog that needs a little extra help and guidance!

I can’t say enough great things about Ohana k9! From the moment we started, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about both dogs and their owners. The training methods were clear, effective, and tailored to fit our dog’s specific needs. Hailey was the absolute best trainer we could have asked for. She was patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at reading dog behavior. She made every session enjoyable and easy to understand, and we saw real progress so quickly thanks to her guidance. She also took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we felt confident continuing the training at home. If you’re looking for a place that truly knows what they’re doing and treats your dog like family, this is it. Highly recommend, especially if you get the chance to work with Hailey!
